Are you ditching the bouquet toss?

Tossing the bouquet to the single ladies at your reception is a tradition that has been cooling off in recent years, but some people can’t image a wedding without the bouquet toss! Will the bride be throwing the bouquet on your wedding day? Are you saying "I do" to this tradition or ditching it? 💐...

I’m not sure. There are plenty of single ladies attending my wedding but I’m not sure I want to toss my bouquet or create one just to toss.

I'm giving mine to the oldest woman in attendance. Looks like it will be my great grandmother.

I didn't have a preference before reading this discussion post, I guess I still don't have one. However, for those of you who are saying you do not want to throw your bouquet - my brother's wife dedicated hers to someone special (in their case her grandmother who was undergoing chemotherapy) So if that is something you ladies would prefer to do I thought it was a very sweet idea Smiley smile

May be a silly question, but may I ask why so many people are against the tradition?

I’m definitely ditching this tradition. There’s no point because all of the women at my wedding are married.

Ehw, yes on ditching this! I hate putting people on the spot just because they aren't married.

Ditched it and didn't regret it! There was no point on spending more money on an extra toss bouquet. Most attendees were already married. Plus everyone hates participating in these.

Aww! If you have it in the budget, you should make a bouquet specifically for tossing, that way you can keep your beautiful bouquet!

Yes, indeed! I don’t feel comfortable with my FH going up under my dress in front of our parents.

Ditching it!! We're having a relatively small wedding and most of the women on our guest list are taken. Plus I don't particularly like the tradition, the idea of it kind of makes me uncomfortable but that's also because I am very introverted!
