Are you ditching the bouquet toss?

Tossing the bouquet to the single ladies at your reception is a tradition that has been cooling off in recent years, but some people can’t image a wedding without the bouquet toss! Will the bride be throwing the bouquet on your wedding day? Are you saying "I do" to this tradition or ditching it? 💐...

Thank you, next (tradition): Are you ditching the garter toss?

My thought is to skip it. It honestly feels ridiculous.

I'll be ditching it! It seems awkward and unnecessary. Also, most of my female friends are married, anyway! lol

Considering that the only single girls there will be my daughters (22 and 14) I'll pass. 🤣

But seriously, I never dived for the bouquet when friends threw it. It's humiliating. I'm not desperate to be next.

Ditching it. It's safer and cheaper. I've seen ladies nearly fall trying to catch the bouquet.

Ditching! Most of our guests are married ( I think there would be a total of 2 single ladies ) also ditching the garter toss. Even if there were more people still ditching it, I don't like the tradition.

Ditching! I've never liked going up to catch the bouquet and my fiance doesn't want to toss a garter either. It's not for us.

I want to have it, but basically everyone except maybe 2 or 3 ladies are already married so we will probably end up ditching it lol!

Ditching it! There’s only about 4 single ladies and 3 single guys coming to the wedding and I always feel like this showcases it in a “haha forever alone” way. Plus, there is NO WAY my Fh is going up my dress in front of my father

I hope to do the bouquet toss but I'm not sure about wearing a garter cuz my dress is short & tight.

Agreed! It's just so awkward to be waiting around for a bouquet!

Skipping it as I'm not carrying a bouquet of flowers. It's going to be handmade with photos of loved ones who have passed on.

I'm not planning on tossing mine, it's going to made with antique broaches not flowers. Plus, most of our attendees being in there 30's ish age-range are already spoken for or would preferred to not be singled out.

I'm not tossing mine! Not really into the tradition. My fiancé however really wants me to, haha.

I'm not really sure, to be honest. But in the one awful experience that I have had, where I got scratched up pretty bad, I think I will ditch that!

Ditched it. No one wants to participate and it’s an old tradition I dont necessarily need.

We aren’t doing this. Most of the girls who could line up are teens and younger so we don’t really see the point. Instead I’m thinking of taking my “tossing bouquet” apart & just handing them each a flower from it. And because we are Christians we will pray with them that each one will find their partner in God’s time.
