Are you saying goodbye to the old traditional wedding party? Or are you mixing it up with uneven sides, two MOHs (or none), or skipping the flower girl and ring bearer? Are you sticking with or ditching the traditional wedding party make-up?

I also have an uneven number. I have one maid of honor and 3 bridesmaids and one bridesman. Fiancé has his brother for best man. He might have one groomsman. From what I read the MOH and BM can walk down together and a groomsman can have two bridesmaids one on each arm. Hope this helped.

We are considering ditching the wedding party altogether. I originally had 6 girls and now I am down to 2.. Something about a wedding really brings out the terrible in some people. My sister decided to be a bridesmaid-zilla and start making demands about including her husband in our wedding party. When I refused she backed out of my wedding party and took my two nephews I would have as ushers along with her. My other sister decided it might be weird for her to be up there without the other sister and also thought it was not proper etiquette to have her whole family involved and not her husband..So as much as I wanted to share in my day with as few complications as possible, they have ensured that won't happen. So my fiance and I are discussing more and more of not having a wedding party and just having a couple people stand up with us at the ceremony.

Thanks Rebecca! I have mostly family on my side but my fiance has his best friends on his side. But with the couple of people we are asking to stand with us are close friends and my completely awesome little sister. ❤️

I'm not having a maid of honor because I don't really have any close friends that have been by my side for years. So I'm just having my brother as Man of Honor and a few girl friends that are in my fiances and my group of friends.

We have a wedding party but it's not a traditional one.

A maid of honor but no bridesmaids. A best man but no groomsmen. a flower girl but not ring bearer. And then we have a jr bridesmaid.

We're having 5 on each side, but I have a bridesman on my side, and FH has a groomswoman on his side. We're also not having a flower girl or ring bearer. So, bucking tradition a little bit, lol.

Actually, now that I think about it, it’s right at half and half, lol. I have my 3 sisters and 2 friends on my side, and FH has his brother and a cousin, and 3 friends on his side.

Keeping it traditional. He has a BM and 5 groomsmen and I have a MOH and 5 bridesmaids. My 14 year old son is the ring bearer who will be pulling our 15 month old daughter (the flower girl) in a wagon while she tosses flowers. Just because she takes no direction whatsoever haha she dies what she wants, so I just know it would be a disaster if I decided to let her walk alone! 😂😂😂
