Have you and your significant other decided to follow the “carry over the threshold” tradition? This old wedding night tradition was another way to ward off evil spirits, apparently brides were extra vulnerable through the soles of their feet!     My fiancé is so excited for this. He carries me all the time, but he mentioned that he thinks about that particular part of the wedding day when he’s in the gym. It melts my heart. ❤️

    I think we should skip it because I'm a fairly heavy girl and I don't like to be picked up at all but he still wants to do it so most likely I will be carried over the threshold.

    He has repeatedly said we are keeping this one. I’m trying my best to shed some pounds to make it a little easier for him lol and he keeps telling me not to worry about that. Smiley winking

    I’m pretty sure my FH will do this for giggles and grins! I’m always telling him to put me down because he will drop me! To date he has not drop me but there’s always a chance!
