Are you having an after party?

Keep the party going here: Are you having an engagement party?, What’s your favorite bachelor/bachelorette party destination?, and Would you rather cut the shower or the bach party?

    We did not.
Half our guests were gone before we were and we had to head home and get some sleep because we had an early flight.
Plus I was tired and done hanging out with people. I wanted to open presents and spend time with my husband!!

Our wedding ends at 10pm and we’re offering a shuttle downtown for guests to join us at MotorCity casino in downtown Detroit. Most of my family plans to reserve rooms there to stay the night.

Ooh, I like that a lot, Sylvana!! What sort of games or whatnot does your venue's play room offer?

I can get that, Marjani! I'm usually a night owl, but after a day like that, even I might be like, "okay guys, it's bed time." Do you have to get up early the morning after or are you taking it slow and casual?

That is so interesting, Valerie! I've never been to a wedding that had an after party. Smiley laugh

I'm thinking of taking it slow and casual the next day since it's a Sunday.

My fiance has such a big group of competitive friends. If i do choose to hold the after party, I may opt to bring card and board games because alcohol + Uno = a good time for us. (lol)

Yes! That was one of the many selling points of the venue we booked! That and they have a tiki bar outside that's open during the summer which we can use so there will be plenty for everyone to do!

The play room downstairs has a full bar, a few arcade games, an air hockey table, and a pool table! I'm super excited!!!! Smiley smile

Our venue package includes an after party in the pub in the basement, so we'll send our bridal party and interested guests down to start the after party while we do a last dance alone in the ballroom before joining them downstairs.
