We're happily inviting kids. While there won't be a ton, we actually enjoy having them around. Some of the most memorable moments at weddings I've been to involved little ones on the dance floor!

No, we're not inviting children and hopefully people respect that.

Basically. At my sister's wedding she didn't want any kids so they didn't plan for any. Her husband's side brought about 9 minimum and they broke a number of vases and other decor. The venue ended up billing them to get the carpet down the aisle cleaned and the florist charged them for every item destroyed. My sister was so pissed when she found out, even though everyone tried to hide it from her the same day.

The only kids that will be at my wedding are the flower girl and the ring bearer. We are having beer and wine at the reception and I want our guests (and us) to enjoy themselves and not have to worry about kids running around.

We're absolutley inviting kids. Besides all the kids in our families, some of our other guests also have kids. I just don't understand why kids wouldn't be invited to a wedding- it seems really weird to me.

So far, the only children we're planning on inviting are my four nieces, who are flower girls. Otherwise, no kids unless it's a babe in arms. Most of our friends don't have kids, and we're getting married at a winery, so that was an easy choice!

We are having a destination wedding on a holiday weekend so I’ve told friends and family they are more than welcome to bring their kids to make it a family affair. They are also welcome to get a sitter and have an adult weekend.

Heck’s no! I don’t need any drama. Unfortunately, these days parents get so offended when you ask their child to stop doing something they have no business doing and the child is in your own house. Nobody has time for that!

Anyone from out of state who doesn't have a family who can babysit is allowed to bring children. For example, my cousin from across the country can bring kids since all his sitters will be at my wedding lol. My high school BFFs from a few states away but still have family locally will not be permitted to bring kids. My friends children are not invited but my cousins kids are (it was important to my Mom and she's paying). I like having some kids as it makes for cute photos Smiley smile

I feel like if people wanted to do a date night or something they would find a babysitter. I am having an adults only event.

That is absolutely horrible!! I can't believe people brought kids when they weren't supposed to. How rude.

We included kids on our guest list because besides most of our friends having kids, we've enjoyed some fun with them and they actually jump on us wherever they see us ❣ They know us and have showed love towards us too, so we just couldn't skip them. Then we'd have to explain to them why they didn't get to go hahaha Besides that, our wedding is outdoors so they'll have plenty of space to run around and have fun too.

We are not having kids attend the wedding. It's just too much. We don't have children yet and we want everyone to enjoy their time and not worry about their kids.

I've got a big family with little nephews, nieces and cousins, and some of my more older friends have kids. Kids are definitely invited to mine.

No! It’s an adult only reception but maybe for the ceremony.

No way. The token kid is FH's daughter from his first marriage and she will be almost 7 at the time. We are having a destination wedding and I'm anticipating some no's because of that-but the caterer is still charging us full price for kids, so we are not paying $180 for kids who will not take advantage of a full bar and mahi mahi and will eat only macaroni and cheese.
