Are you inviting everyone whose wedding you've attended?

What's your stance on reciprocal wedding invites? Did you automatically add them to your guest list if you were invited to their wedding? Or did it depend on how long ago their wedding was? We haven't been to a ton of weddings, but we are pretty much inviting everyone whose wedding we have attended.

No way! I'm not even inviting everyone whose wedding I've been in! Relationships change--if we don't still keep in contact fairly regularly, you're not invited.

The only wedding's we've been to have been family and close friends so coincidentally, yes.

Yeah it definitely depends on how long ago their wedding was and/or the closeness of our relationship. I have a few that I am inviting because they’re still that important to me even if we don’t talk often. Like my first ever friend. I haven’t seen her in years but we were practically inseparable our first 5 years of life. But there were some friends from high school who invited me to their wedding almost 10 years ago that I’m not really planning to return the favor. Unless you make me keep thinking about it more.

No. You invite whomever you can't imagine spending the day without. Being invited to their wedding is irrelevant.

Nope. I don't get that idea either. I won't be inviting anyone whose wedding I've attended. Unless my little brother gets married before me, which I suspect may happen.

Actually yes, with one exception - a girl that I'm not talking to anymore... And I made my MOH a friend who had chosen me for the same role at her wedding. However, on my husbands side, there are a lot of couples not married yet... I'm waiting to attend their weddings one day ! Smiley xd
