Are you inviting friends you haven't seen recently?

YES! I tried to explain this to my mother but she didn't get it. I let her know all of the long lost friends she's worried about can come to the shower.

Very few. There are some of those childhood friends we both plan on inviting to our wedding but besides that, if we haven't talked or heard from someone for a year, then we aren't really that close I'd say.

Most of our Guest List consists of family, close friends, and some co-workers.

I'm not but my FH had 2 of his best friends from college coming.

Nope! I am inviting a friend I have had since middle school that moved away before high school. We have kept in contact through the years, here and there. But not having him at my wedding would feel very odd. Other friends that don't speak to me on a regular basis are NOT invited.

Maybe a couple that were there for us in the beginning of our relationship, but not a lot.

He stuck with the important ones, but he also was born and raised close by. I am not from out town, so I am inviting my friends whom I haven't seen in awhile from back home.
