Are you ladies doing invitations by mail or online??

I think it depends a lot on the formality of the event and your crowd. If your wedding is more formal, I think you're better off spending the money on paper invites. I got mine pretty cheap from Ann's Bridal Bargain. They come with everything you need for 99 cents, but they often have 20-30% off sales as well. I was pleased with their quality as well.

I'm mailing out my invitations but people can choose whether they want to RSVP by mail or online!

Yup!! I'm doing the online RSVP's through WeddingWire!! You can add the RSVP page to your wedding website and you can create a guest list that reciprocates that as well!

I'm actually sending my out my invitations but they can RSVP online or I have a phone set up for text messages just for the wedding. I got my invites from zazzle. I really like them a lot. We got 150 for 170$ including envelopes. They arrived pretty quickly also!

I’m sending paper invites only to those who I know would want something like that for a keepsake (moms, grandmas, etc), others that I know would end up just tossing it Im planning on inviting through a facebook event

We largely did online but we needed some mailed out for older folks who were not tech savvy

We are getting old fashioned paper invites l, complete with all the traditional inserts. However the design will be modern to fit us. Guests can rsvp via reply card, rsvp website, or phone/text/email as is convenient for them.


We have received digital wedding invitations in the past and they backfired badly. Guests didn’t take them seriously as a formal event, think it was a save the date and waited for the paper invites that were never sent. In those cases, next to no one attended as a result.
