Are you leaving for your honeymoon the day after the wedding?

Yes. we are getting married saturday and leaving sunday afternoon.

We are getting married Saturday leaving monday to visit my grandma she can't make wedding and leaving 2 days after that so yes and no lol im weird

Since He will still be training with Fire department we can not get more then a few days off. Daye after we will open presents with immediate family.We then plan to go to a beautiful B&B near lake Michigan... It will be close and peaceful. We will go on a real trip later.

We'll probably just stay in our wedding night hotel for the weekend (since that's all we can get during the school year) and take some time off (hopefully the next summer) for a real honeymoon.

We got married in December, going on our honeymoon at the end of June.

Our wedding is on a sunday afternoon and we are leaving for FL on Monday afternoon should be relaxing and watching the sunset over the gulf that evening

We marry on Saturday and leave for Europe on Wednesday.

We were originally planning to leave a week after the wedding but then I realized we'd be gone for the 1st day of school. I have a 4yr old and can't miss that! So, we were able to change the dates and now we're leaving the next morning.

We flew out the Monday after the wedding and I was so happy we did. It gave us a chance to visit with our OOT guests and to just rest up! It was nice to start the honeymoon well rested and ready to have fun!

We're getting married on a Saturday and leaving for the honeymoon on Tuesday. However, everyone thinks we're leaving Sunday.

We are leaving right after the reception but we are stopping about 3 hours away for our first night and then getting up in the morning for another 3 hour drive.. so not so bad

We are leaving the next day...I haven't read the posts yet, but to us, we thought we would need the escape...2 nights before wedding is bachelor/bachelorette, 1 night before is rehearsal dinner, wedding includes an afterparty that goes until 2am....just get me on the flight, you know? I don't think i want to hang out with anyone else at that point.

We are leaving the day after but then again we arent even leaving the state. we are going just a few hours away.we will be driving.

Our wedding is about two hours from our home. So we plan on taking our time and driving home the day after the wedding(sunday) and get our dogs to their baby sitters then we fly out for 9 days in Hawaii on Monday. I agree with ya. I knew for sure I'd need a day to say goodbye to our out of town guests and I wanted to not be in a hurry to drive home : )

We can't leave until about a month later. Scheduling issues lol

My ex and I had a week between our wedding and honeymoon, and I thought it was perfect.

Due to all this wedding planning and money issues we are waiting til our first anniversary to take a nice trip and enjoy out first year anniversary so we are gonna do some saving so we can go somewhere really nice like maybe a cruise or something.

We're getting married Saturday and leaving the following Monday morning at 6AM. We wanted to have Sunday for returning tuxes, brunch with family, saying goodbye to out of town guests and finalize any packing or errands before we head out. We originally discussed leaving Sunday night, but we decided it just wasn't worth the stress for us and we didn't want to spend the first day of our honeymoon in the room sleeping.

We get married Saturday but Sunday is filled with brunch, golf and a BBQ... We leave Monday for our honeymoon but we don't have to pack Sunday since we're actually getting married in the mountains (4 hours from home) so we'll be all ready to go!

But we're leaving Monday afternoon cause I didn't want to have any kind of rushing during the honeymoon
