Are You Sending Save the Dates?

Since I'm getting married fourth of July weekend, I'm sending save the date notices to guests this summer. Not quite a year in advance, but just close to it. Also, I've already spoken to a lot of my guests already just asking them for their address, so they know it will be coming in the near future. That might be a little bit early, but a combination of being excited and wanting guests to have less of an excuse to back out make this summer seem like a good idea.

We sent them! Most of our families live out of state/country, so we wanted to give everyone a heads and enough time to make travel plans!

We're probably going to skip them. The people we want there will be told personally of the wedding date, and anyone else lives close enough by that I'm not too worried about it.

We sent save the dates (unfortunately we had to end up postponing our date due to covid). For our change the dates we did them electronically instead of paying to re-send them.

I did half and half. I wanted to be kinda funny, so I took a picture of a post it with our "Save the date" and sent it to our friends and my family. A lot of people in my FH's family aren't internet savvy or we don't have their phone numbers, so I printed like 25 of them and mailed those.

Absolutely. A lot of our peeps have jobs on the weekends where things are booked up months in advance (especially the musicians, we are getting married in high season for both weddings and polka, and with venues reopening this fall it's gonna be nutz). We sent them 6 months in advance during the pandemic, and there were still a few people with gig commitments they can't get out of (most could tho)
