Hi there! My fiance and I recently decided to "elope." I have elope in quotes because everyone on our previous guest list already knows we're eloping, they just don't know the date. So technically it's not a by the definition elopement. We're having a "celebration of marriage" party 2 weeks after we elope to celebrate with close family/friends, but have cut off about 20 people from the original guest list (yes we have sent them cancellations and explained). My question is: did anyone share their elopement date counting down to the elopement? I still want to be able to post pictures with our countdowns, but I guess I don't want that to seem weird since nobody is invited to the actual "elopement." Or maybe it doesn't matter since everyone already knows. What are your thoughts?
