I started in late December. I lost 7 pounds, then went away for my bachelorette and came back with tendinitis as a souvenir. I gained it all back and I haven't been able to work out as much with the aircast, but I'm still trying!

    I followed you.
i have hypothyroidism so I’m trying to get back into my shape. Right now, I wake up in the middle of the night to take my synthyroid (sounds so small but it makes such a difference. I also follow a low carb, high protein diet, & I own my own spin bike (fixed gear -sadly not a peloton - but maybe one day) and I make up my own routines based on my play list. I do an hour every day. I usually do 4x songs of spinning, 1x song on the weights doing 1 to 3 moves and repeat 3x.

Calories first! I reduced my daily kcal to 1200 and keep relatively semi-keto eating habits (low carb really -120nc daily) with intermittent fasting 16/8. Always drinking 1G of water.

For exercise I go to a boot camp HIIT gym 5x a week for an hour. It’s INTENSE. But I’m still 25# from my goal and determined.

I think it’s a bit hard to tell but the left was just yesterday and the right was in December before I started my program. -18.5# and counting!

I love Cassey Ho's Blogilates workouts on youtube. She has tons of free content. I also do her paid program, PiiT28, which is a blend of pilates and interval training.

I'm down 20# since the end of January. I HAVE to drop about 20 more by July 20th because I (silly me) bought a dress that's too small. I'd hoped it would motivate me to lose weight and it has, but I struggle every day to exercise. Fortunately, I got a dress with a corset back, which is a bit more forgiving than the button backs I'd been looking at. That plus shapewear should be ok. I've got 2 more months before I need to worry about needing alterations, but I hope I don't need any. If I do need some, I'm going to a tiny seamstress who only needs two weeks.

Pretty much, I eat healthy foods, high-protein, low-crab. And I drink water almost exclusively, but with stress, I've been having more alcohol and I know that's terrible. I do have a treadmill at home, but I need to use it more. I also have an app for belly workouts that I'm using. I want to try some online workouts, but don't know which to choose.

I followed ya! Mine is acuffman Smiley smile

I have been a runner ever since college and had already signed up for a half marathon prior to getting engaged so I am and have been running and training for a while. However, running doesn't quite tone as much as weights do (for me atleast, I am sure it is different for others!). So I am doing Beachbody on Demands 80 Day Obsession and the timed nutrition. So I would say, I am sweating a little extra for the wedding!

I've been doing keto for 3.5 months and I've lost 23lbs. Best lifestyle change I've ever made. Back down to my high school weight.

I started doing reformer based Pilates because I have back issues. I can’t do most of the regular gym stuff. The place I go to is great. It is all class based, so you are accountable and they even help me modify some of the movements for my back issues.

I didn’t necessarily want to lose weight but tone up. I guess it’s working because when I went dress shopping everyone that went with me commented on my arms and back. Plus the lady from the boutique said you make me want to do pilates. Haha On the way back my mom was asking me all kinds of questions too and think she is interested in trying it out. Plus my back doesn’t hurt as much anymore. Besides that I have been trying to eat healthier and drink more water.

Thanks! I can’t find the recipe online (of course 🙄) but I LOVE this Thai curry soup that’s vegan and has leeks in it! I’m not a vegan but my sister and brother in law both are. It’s a great soup for cold months.
I also love to eat bell Pepper and hummus as a snack

That's awesome! My mother felt the same way when I started exercising. She was inspired to join a gym and was so excited for my journey that she she decided to buy the Sodastream and accessories off our registry and said it was not a wedding gift. Lol!

Definitely sweating for the wedding!!! Looking to lose about 20-30 lbs. so far, I’ve lost 5. I have my first dress fitting on the 25th and the bachelorette party Jun 27th. I’m hoping not to put on a ton of weight during the bachelorette party! As of now, I try to walk about 3-5 miles a day or do Zumba 5 days a week. As for food, I’m mainly eating fish and chicken, zoodles, cauliflower rice and lots of water!!!

Does anyone have a good recipe to recommend? Or maybe a smoothie recipe?

I am! But because I was already small, losing weight has been especially hard lol. If anything, I re-did my body composition. I only lost 10 pounds since December 1 because I've built up so much muscle. However, I did lose 9 inches.

For a smoothie recommendation, I drink a blueberry smoothie with flax seeds.

I get into a good healthy habit then always fall off for some reason. I started the Beachbody OnDemand, 80 Day Obsession in January. I was halfway through and I got the flu in February and fell off the wagon. I've been having such difficulty trying to get back into it. I definitely recommend their programs from home, though! Whoever says workouts at home don't work or aren't fun are wrong.
