I started in late December. I lost 7 pounds, then went away for my bachelorette and came back with tendinitis as a souvenir. I gained it all back and I haven't been able to work out as much with the aircast, but I'm still trying!

I've been attempting to lol I have lost about 35 lbs since January but i've been at a stand still for the last few months with a goal of an additional 20 by my wedding. I've been doing low carb and cut out sugar!

I really need to work out but I have costochronditis for the past 2 years, which is basically rib cartilage swelling & pain. I never realized how much it restricts my movement until I tried working out lol. I probably have to do yoga or something focused more on stretching. I have a strapless dress and my arms are not even close to where I want them. I'm going to follow you on insta.

I recently joined a yoga studio that does "inferno hot pilates" classes and hot yoga classes. I have to say, nothing has ever kicked me harder than the hot pilates class! First time I went, I legitamately thought I was going to pass out halfway through. Afterwards I was super sore, but I am super excited to continue on with it because I can tell it works!

I keep saying I'll workout more, but life always gets I the way. HOWEVER, I've focused on really nailing a healthy diet and ended up losing 7 pounds in 1.5 months unintentionally! I have my first fitting appointment today so now I'm determined to keep the weight off. I'm small as it is, but has some extra bloat and flab to get rid of. Now I really need to get my butt in the gym to stay toned.
If it helps, pinterest has been amazing for easy healthy recipes. I buy chicken in bulk on sale, freeze whatever I wont use that week, and try one new dish a week. I love the ones that allow me to just throw the chicken in an oven dish and put some sort of sauce/veggie mixture on top, throw it in the oven for 25 mins and it's one. Super easy!! Ever since refining my diet I cant stand when FH wants fast food, doesn't even appeal to me anymore.

I'm getting married in September! I used to do beachbody at home and felt like I was never seeing any results. I really wanted to tone my arms for the dress and trim my stomach so I switched to Steph Yoga - www.stephyoga.com and have already lost an inch in my thighs and waist!

It's really hard, but you only have to do it 3X a week for 45 minutes. So I like that I can do it at home! You guys should try so we can be accountability buddies

How do you like 80 Day Obsession? I've considered it, but usually like my workouts to be 30 minutes or less due to having to study for CPA exams. I also don't think I could do the timed nutrition exactly how they want, but maybe it wouldn't hurt because I do kind of have a meal schedule. I'm on my last week of Shaun T's new Transform 20 program, it gets tough at some points, but I like that it's 6 days a week for 20 minutes a day.

    Hey Lily! Congrats!!

Well I've actually been on my journey for a little over a year. Even before I was proposed to. I have been on a rollercoaster ride with this weight thing and I'm officially down 18 lbs. I have until April of next year so I guess I better get serious for real. Here in Chicago, I take 6 week challenges with a class called TWT. She gives us our meal plan and we workout with her five days a week. Now this really works (if you follow it to the letter) but I'm an emotional eater so when I get upset, it's a wrap! So, I think I'm going to take a page out of your book (so to speak) and document my progress via Instagram. This way I'll be able to see my progress and know where I'm going wrong. If I bite it, I'm going to write it. Thanks and good luck to you!

I really like it actually. I was really unsure of the length because I have always done the Beachbody Workouts that are 30 minutes or shorter but these ones aren't that bad. The timed nutrition is actually easier than I thought. Beachbody created a free app that aligns with 80 Day Obsession that I have been using and it literally tells you when to eat. I try my best to eat when I should but some days at work just don't allow for it to happen at the exact right time.

Handful of Blueberries and ice. 1/4 cup of flax seeds and soy milk. Spoonful of raw honey.

Made it once cause that's what was left of my weekly groceries lol but, it's pretty good I think.

This last month presented a challenge for me. I was diagnosed with tendinitis and was not allowed to go on the treadmill. I was given an aircast to wear and was only allowed to do upper body workouts. My training sessions are twice a week, but I was doing the treadmill at home on days that I wasn't at the gym. I didn't gain much weight, it was definitely a problem.

I am cleared to work my lower body now. My personal trainer suggested I walk on the track, because she thinks I won't walk as heavy as I would on the treadmill. After 44 minutes, I felt more than just a twinge of pain, so I stopped.

Check out my video of me walking without the boot!

Not so much for weight loss but rather for my health's sake; I want to be able to have energy and feel good on the wedding day and honeymoon.

About 4 years ago, I decided to work on getting into a healthier body. I got a personal trainer and lost 40 pounds over 2 years. Trying to save money, I stopped my training sessions and got lax about my eating since I didn't have someone checking on what I was eating daily. I've gained about 20 back, but after going dress shopping a couple times, I've really decided to put a focus back on getting on track. I've gotten strict about my food again (though I probably won't be as strict as I was as I was really only eating for energy, and that's not sustainable!) but I'm going back into all my old workouts that my trainer had for me and starting them again. I forgot how tough it is to get back into the swing of things, but I'm hoping after this first month, it will be a lot easier.

Thanks Thisismrsb for creating this thread and telling me about it!

I started in March, have lost 4kg as of last week. We are getting married on June 25. Fitting my wedding dress is a short term goal for fitness, I want to keep going afterwards too. This is my progress so far:

ProgressAre you sweating for the wedding? 2

Right now, I really enjoy lifting weights, doing HIIT and exercise videos online. I've added a goal of 6000 steps per day since last week so I'm active about 8 hours per week now. I'm not tracking calories but I'm not eating any carbs that don't come from veggies or nuts. Eating chicken, veggies, seeds, eggs, cream, cream cheese and 85% dark chocolate.
