I walked down the aisle to an instrumental version of Can't Help Falling In Love by The Piano Guys. I've never actually seen a bride walk down the aisle in silence.

Our whole wedding has a hidden Smashing Pumpkins theme, so I will be walking down the aisle to a smashing pumpkins song played by a string quartet.

I haven’t decided yet, but some of the songs I’ve been considering are the Piano Dreamer’s instrumental version of Perfect, Brian Crain’s Butterfly Waltz (the solo piano version), or the Piano Dreamer’s How Does A Moment Last Forever.
I would feel awkward walking to silence, and I did consider walking to a song with vocals but decided I preferred instrumental.

View Quoted Comment They are one of ours too! I had surgery a couple years back and had unexpected complications and nearly died. I ended up having to completely relearn to walk - I was on a walker for months then crutches for months after that. It was a horribly trying time for me, my family and my fiancé. While laid up, I saw the announcement that the Smashing Pumpkins were going to be touring again & playing only music from their classic CDs (Shiny & Oh So Bright tour). I was too young to go to their concerts when their CDs first came out (despite BEGGING my mother!), so this was insanely exciting for me! I vowed to be able to walk again by the concert date. We immediately purchased $800 tickets so that I could sit in the front row & not have to worry about anyone standing in front of me & blocking my view (since we knew there was no way I’d be able to stand that long). I worked my butt off in therapy and was able to walk short distances by the time the concert rolled around. It was the first place I went after surgery & the 1st time I felt like a “normal” person after surgery. It was a really meaningful & emotional experience for my fiancé & I. I think it was the 1st time in a year that we both felt like we were going to have a bright future after all we’d been through. So that’s why we chose SP as a “theme” for our wedding. Not sure if you saw the Shiny & Bright tour, but we will be using a lot of visuals from it. We will actually have pieces of the footage (mixed with other celestial images) playing on the TV during our reception. It will also be mixed in with our decor in the ceremony & reception. FH’s and my wardrobe will be a nod to the Ava Adore video. We are having a string quartet playing Smashing Pumpkins while we walk down the aisle, and a SP song for our wedding video.

I've been saying I was going to walk down the aisle to "Best Part" by Daniel Caesar and H.E.R but now I'm leaning more toward "I'm Kissing You" by Des'ree from the 1996 remake of Romeo & Juliet with Leonardo DiCaprio.

I rode my horse Sarsaparilla to the beginning of the aisle "Marry Me " by Train played as we rode in and while I walked down the aisle.
