Arizona Wedding Date Help!

Sonoma, on April 17, 2017 at 11:25 PM Posted in Arizona Planning 1 13

My fiancée and I are new to Arizona (Phoenix area) and are having trouble planning ahead to set a date for 2018, since we have not experienced the weather for a full year. We are avoiding the obviously hot months like June July and August though. We want the wedding to be outdoors, with an indoor / outdoor mix reception so good / temperate weather is ideal, without the risk of being rained out. Any Arizona brides out there who can help us out with the best times / dates of the year to get married ?! Thanks!

I'm not in Arizona but maybe you could Google average temps and weather forecasts for certain months. Weather channel usually could help with that also

Our wedding date has changed from 12/3/17, due to our discovery of how rainy it actually is in December haha.

I live in Chandler and I would say that March would be the PERFECT time to have an outdoor wedding!

Maybe November or late February/early march? There are very narrow windows where it's not egregiously hot during the day, or surprisingly chilly at night. Even those aren't guaranteed to be nice; it was 90 for a week and a half in March this year.

Anything between April and October is probably too hot, December and January are cool at night and it rains more frequently in the winter.

I got married in Sedona and it was wonderful. Temperatures are beautiful year round at that elevation if you're willing to go out of town.

    I'm getting married in

fountain hills and chose early November. If you are considering a golf course, ask about their reseeding schedule. We had to move from late October to early November. It's getting here so quickly!

I'm getting married out in Queen Creek at the end of April. We will have an evening wedding and most of it will be outside. Since I'll be on a farm out of the main city it is a little bit cooler so the weather should be nice. If you pick a spring date just be aware that mid March - mid April tends to be a little windy. If you choose to do it in the fall then I would go for about the middle of November, but just keep in mind that people will also be very with the holidays coming up and may not attend. Good luck!

I've lived in Phoenix all my life! I chose November because even October is warm. Avoid June through September for sure, and I wouldn't personally be thrilled with an outdoor ceremony in may or October either, but it'd be more manageable.

We are doing November because it is absolutely gorgeous during this time of year! October/November the weather starts to cool down a bit but it isn't so chilly you can't be outside at night. I am originally from the east coast but spent quite a few years here now and I cannot imagine any other time in Arizona to get married.

I keep going back and forth between Oct and Nov.. November has a very slightly bigger chance of rain, but it is cooler!

I'm getting married in Fall at night, not too hot not too cold. All of my FH's family is coming from out of town and wouldn't be used to the heat at all...also retouching make up every couple minutes doesn't sound flattering to me.

Ahh I'm actually getting married June 2nd. I'm from AZ but have lived in TX for the past decade lol.. . . so maybe I'm remembering the heatness wrong. It is an evening wedding and a small wedding. It's partly outside and inside. The music will be outside.
