Hi everyone!

I am in the middle of deciding the venue for our 2022 wedding.

We immediately fell in love with the Ashford Estate and decided to move forward and review the menu, etc.

I love how you can customize the menu to your liking. Presentation (pictures) seem pleasing, BUT... I don't see any KNOT/Wedding Wire reviews on the caterers at all. I see mixed reviews on the food but they are dated far back. Does anyone have a recent review on their catering service? I know their cocktail menu is a lot smaller than other NJ venues we've seen. We are okay with it because Ashford said they can allow 1 or 2 outside catering if approved, and we don't need a full buffet with 20+ stations for cocktail hour.

What are the names of their approved caterers? I'll see if I can find any reviews or forum mentions!!
Also can schedule tastings with the caterers to get an idea of their work? I'd also ask them where their wedding clients tend to leave reviews!

It’s merri-makers. They do host at multiple venues and heard the division for Ashford was different.
Please let me know if you see any recent reviews! Oh and yes, there is a tasting but apparently it’s towards the actual wedding day! Thank you!
