Asking a younger cousin to be a bridesmaid

Ashley, on February 7, 2022 at 1:02 PM Posted in Planning 0 3

I'll be asking my 16 YO cousin to be in my wedding in November. By then, she will be 17 (crazy that she's even that old but that's a story for another day).

She lives out of state so I will be mailing her a proposal box. I'm stumped as to what to put in it though. My other 2 bridesmaids were given a bath bomb, wine tumbler, candle and a small bottle of champagne. Since this one is going to be sent through the mail, I'm hesitant to send anything that may break en route.

Have any of you asked someone who was younger to be in your wedding? What did you include in asking them and how did you ask?

How about the bathbomb, Face masks, and a coffee tumbler?

Does she like coffee/tea? I would do something like a fun coffee mug and a starbucks gift card instead instead of wine stuff.

How fun, here are some suggestions maybe a few of these together would work Starbucks or dunkin donuts gift card, coffee tumbler or water bottle, face masks, bath and body works products, nail polishes, nail stickers make up bag, Sephora card, hair accessories, a beach towel. What you ever you decide its such a sweet gesture, have fun putting it together!
