Asking my uncle to fill in my dads spot for my daddy daughter dance..

Hi everyone! I want to make a little gift box or something of the sort and give it to my uncle. I want to ask him to take my dads place for my father daughter dance. My dad passed away, and my uncle is my God father as well. I'm not that creative! Any ideas/help would be great!

    Your uncle will be so honored and touched! I would do a heartfelt card expressing how much he means to you and ask that way

    Hey Kerilynn! This sounds like a wonderful idea. I'm sure your uncle will be so honored to be asked to have this role in your wedding.

    If you want to buy him a gift to commemorate you asking, you could buy him something that he can wear on the day of your wedding like cufflinks, a tie, or even a fun pair of socks, depending on your budget.

    If he has a favorite drink, you could get him a bottle of that or perhaps you could take him for a meal in his favorite restaurant when you ask him.
