Asking your flower girl/ring bearer?

Dani, on October 22, 2016 at 7:38 PM Posted in Community Conversations 0 24

Did anyone do anything cute to ask their flower girl or ring bearer? I know it is NOT necessary. Just wondering. They will be our nieces and nephews so their parents already have an idea from casual conversations about the wedding. I will be seeing them all over Thanksgiving and would kind of like to give them a small gift/card/etc.

I gave my flower girl cute cards. I found them on etsy. I did not do anything for ring bearer, but I did see a lot of cute ways to ask. Like using bears with a cute note.

I filled a balloon with confetti with a note inside and had them pop it at separate times.

My friend explained to her kids that we were gonna get married and her 3 year daughter goes "great I get to wear a pretty dress and walk with Auntie" hahaha so she invited herself to be my flower girl (she was going to be anyways)

I asked my flower girl with a little goodie bag. It had chocolate, nail polish, and a mini bottle of sparkling juice (the bridesmaids got mini champagne bottles)!

I just posted a video to my YouTube page of my flower girl and ring bearer proposals, as well as the proposal to our sign girl who will hold the "Here Comes the Bride Sign." Feel free to check it out! Here is the link:

And the info to where I purchased my proposals is all in the description box of the video. :-) As you will see in the video, the kids loved them!

Lol kind of...FHs niece is 4, we're having her as our FG. I was showing her dresses I liked on Etsy for her and she turned them all down lmao and I showed her mine and she goes "why do you get the prettiest dress? That's not fair!" She doesn't understand her "duties" but well explain when it's closer.

I have my flower girl a puzzle that said "Teagan will you be our flower girl" and a little tumbler cup with her name and the word flower girl! She loved it and for the ring bearers I went to Walmart and got teddy bears and put little bow ties and sunglasses and asked the boys to be ring security! I have a picture of the ring bearers stuff and the little boxes have ring pops in them

I got my flower girls little bracelets with their initial charm and a flower charm. I also gave them a book - pinkalicious flower girl. For my ring bearers I gave them a bunch of ring pops and a button that says ring security. I put the button on a card that talked about being a special agent in charge of protecting the rings. They all were pretty excited about it!

I wrote the questions on balloons and packed them deflated with cards instructing them to blow them up!
