At my final dress fitting now. Trying to fix a pucker over my butt:( Update fixed the pucker but...

So there's like a bubble over my butt where the zipper is creating a "bubble". They tried loosening it but that made it worse now they r taking it in while I wait. Also the bustle is quite long. I def won't be able to dance without holding it - is that how most bustles are? My dress is a thin chiffon so it doesn't poof out at all to allow my feet to move. Stressing!! I'm sad also because no one is with me. My MOH everyone is out of town. Update fixed the butt pucker (after three rounds of sewing) but the bustle is easily stepped on. arg.

Ugh, the dreaded "butt pucker!" I'm sure they'll be able to fix it.

Yeah I had a butt pucker on my dress from the zipper and it took two tailors to "fix" (it's still sort of there but not really that noticable)

It's hard not to be super OCD about wedding stuff Smiley sad

Hey i'm with you on being alone! All of my family and bridal party are out of state. Fingers crossed that the butt pucker will be gone!

Ugh - butt-pucker. They should be able to fix it eventually - I have had to un-hem a zipper from the inside to get it to lay correctly. And your bustle should make it so you will not have to hold it up all night. Are you wearing different shoes? Is the dress too long overall?

I have a ballgown so that's not happening this time, but I SO know what you mean! I try on dresses at department stores and clothing stores and, unless it's super flowy or empire waist, there is a butt pucker on me!

Oh that sucks - let us know how it goes!!! Take a breathe and try to relax for a minute. I'm sure they will be able to do something. Also the bustle should make it so you CAN dance and move around easily in your dress at the reception.

Well they are arill snip cutting away here. The dress is a sheer chiffon fabric and because it pools at my feet vs proofing out, I would still step on it. They have it hanging down lower in the back like most bustles but I think it's the material. It's like having a bustle on a night gown sort of if u can imagine that. I'll post pics later. I'm on my phone

They were able to fix the butt pucker, but the bustle is concerning me. They added additional side bustles (there's a total of three buttons, two hooks on one side, three hooks in the middle, and two on the other side) but because the fabric is so sheer (chiffon) it still pools around my feet so it's easy to step on. With a poofy dress I'm sure I wouldn't have this problem. Now I'm totally afraid I won't be able to dance like I want to, definitely can't step backwards, AT ALL. Any higher and it would look weird, I don't think it's supposed to be "level" sweeping the ground because it does have a train. It's better, it'll work, but I'm not happy at how contracting it will be and being paranoid of stepping on it.
