Atlanta Bachelorette Party

Paige, on April 5, 2016 at 3:19 PM Posted in Community Conversations 0 9

Hello everyone! I live in Tennessee and some of my bridesmaids live in North and South Carolina, so we are meeting in Atlanta for my bachelorette party since it is a central location. Any other brides have their bach parties here? Any suggestions on fun things to do? Thank you in advance!

I had mine in ATL. We went to Senor Patron in midtown (delicious margaritas!) and then went to a strip club that had male and female dancers :-) Ri-ras is also fun if you're not into strip clubs.

CosmoLava is in Midtown within walking distance of Ri-ras and both are really fun! Google maps can show you all the bars/clubs in that area.

From what I've heard, don't try to go to "Swinging Richard's" as they may not let in a group of just women- I think it's geared more towards gay men. (I could be wrong, that's just what I've heard from friends and family who still live there.)

Go to Lips!! It's so fun - keep in mind it's a Drag Show but the ladies make it quite an amazing show!

Sweetwater Brewery is in Atlanta and would be lots of fun for a daytime activity.

The Nook in Midtown is great for brunch - bottomless mimosas and fantastic bloody Mary's

Cirque du Solie is touring in Atlanta right now - if you're going soon, grab tickets for that.

Ri-Ra's is so fun! The Ivy is a classic bar in the Buckhead area and if you want a fantastic fun late night dancing you have got to go to Johnny's Hideaway!

Havana club, Tongue & Groove, Gold Room, Opera, Loca Luna, Cosmo Lava. Just get on a guest list earlier in the day that you plan on going to save on cover charges. Atlanta is very Uber-friendly too!

Havana Club is honestly overrated and overpriced.

TN here too! On a totally different note, there's a lot of good workout classes that we don't have here in the Nashville area (Flywheel, Exhale), if you're into that. I want to go to Gunshow. I've only gone out there once, to The Opera which I would not recommend.
