Attempted to read The Knot forums and...

I actually agree with TK posters about the disposable cameras. I'm sorry... I thought that OP was dead set on those cameras no matter what advice she got from those posters. That's fine, do what you will, but I didn't think anyone was being *that* rude to that OP.

ETA: Should TK posters have stalked the crap out of her after? No.

As far as the other post that was linked in this thread, that one was just funny. Jokes on them if they think that thread in question was legitimate, haha!

Anytime I visit TK, it's totally dead. I wouldn't even know how to get to the above threads without a direct link, mwhaha.

The only thing I like about TK is that they have local boards...that's helpful. I prefer WW and have mostly visited when someone mentions them on WW and posts a link. A lot of their threads are really old...they stay on there forever!

I really can't believe that they didn't realize everyone was joking around when they joked about invoicing no-shows --- they actually took it seriously! That is so much funnier than the original joke!! hahaha!

@KochBride We should! That would be a awesome thread, however I think there are some women on here who are on the knot as well, and they wouldn't like that very much. Although I could care less! if they got butt hurt

After lurking around both for a month, I finally joined WW last night instead of The Knot because everyone here seems more genuine.

GOOD. NESS. I stopped reading that thread after the first page... nuts. I have a TK account but I haven't used it, I think I ended up finding my first vendor on WW and that's how I stumbled on the forums and decided I liked this site better. And holy crap am I glad I did.

Thank you ladies (and gents!) for being supportive, or at least cordial and decent, even on the most delicate and polarizing topics posted on here. I appreciate all of you. I don't think I've seen an all out fight or angry post on here yet *knock on wood*
