Attended wedding, caught bouquet

Awesome! I caught the bouquet at my friend's wedding almost exactly 5 years ago (her anniversary was yesterday) and out of all her bridesmaids I'm also the first to marry. In fact I met my FH only a month after her wedding so the bouquet toss worked for me too! Can't wait to hear how the rest of the wedding was!

I caught my sister's bouquet when she got married a few years ago. FH and I had just got together. I'm not the first to get married since then though, our brother got married last summer

I don't think you're supposed to try to catch it if engaged... Lol. You're not technically single. But that's pretty funny.

I still participate in the bouquet toss. lol. In our circle, you participate until you are married. I actually caught it at a wedding the week before FH proposed. I had no idea it was coming, so that was kind of awesome.

Nice! Nothing like that has ever happened to me. In my pre-FH days when the bouquet was tossed I'd deliberately try to avoid it and if it landed anywhere near me I'd give it the death stare. Thinking back, I may have been a little odd. Oh well...:-)

Well there weren't many people and they told me to please go and try to catch it (because as her brother said "how funny would it be if you caught the bouquet!")

I have always hated the bouquet toss and never participated in it.

I caught my sisters a few years ago and no one has gotten married or engaged since so I will be the next one!

When I was 16 my BF at the time and I went to one of his friends wedding reception. I ended up catching the bouquet. Years later when I started working where I am now and dating FH, I found out that the guy who got married worked where we do and that FH and him were best friends and he was the BM!

I still have pics I took at their reception and FH and our GM are in the background of some of my pics. Small world.

Semi-related funny story: I have a friend who caught the bouquet at SIX weddings in a row (every wedding she attended) in the last 2 years. When she got engaged a few months ago she put a collage of her with the 6 bouquets on Facebook saying "it finally worked!" I thought that was really funny.

Before FH and I got engaged we were at a friends wedding and I caught the boquet and he caught he garter. 5 months later we were engaged.

I went to a wedding three summers in a row when I was 11,12, and 13. I caught the bouquets each time, my parents were getting concerned! Haha (don't worry I'm in my 20's now)

My best friend & MOH caught mine! She was so pumped. Since we got engaged she was going on and on about how she was gonna "throw down for that bouquet" haha and she got it! It was so funny.

I've never caught a bouquet. my best friend/MOH caught mine. she was stoked. dh's grandma was out there trying to catch it and that was pretty funny

I've always avoided the bouquets like the plague at every wedding I've attended. Somehow I still wound up getting engaged. Go figure. ;-)

I've never caught one...and now I never will. Kinda sad about it.

At a friends wedding last Jun someone else caught the bouquet so I told them well you better get on that you have a year

I never participate, but once had the bride throw it too far and the damn bouquet hit me in the head...i left it on the floor for the girls to go pick up and continued drinking

Our garter was caught by my cousins FFIL (long story nice guy) and he is getting married to CIL's mom in June. Bouquet by the JBM, Thank GOD they did not try to get a 70 year old man to put garter on 10 yr old girl!

I caught my best friend's bouquet at her wedding, and two months later my FH proposed. She's my MOH and I really am the next of her guests to get married, haha.
