I splurged here but didn’t intend to. I let my party each pick out a dress at one shop for me to try on although I had been eyeing a dress elsewhere that I was set on. Well the one that brought the entire boutique to tears- especially me- turned out to be waaaay over budget.

Unexpectedly Saved! And I was so Grateful. The gown was on sale and I visited the site while at another bridal shop choosing bridesmaid dresses and it was even half of what I actually paid. DB was gracious enough to price match.

We definitely saved on this! Wedding dress is around $1000 and FH's suit will be pretty cheap

Splurged on my dress, but my parents are generously paying for that, so its not part of my budget. Haven't picked out guys attire yet, but bridesmaid dress were from azazie and reasonably priced.

Save, I am too cheap to spend thousands/ hundreds of dollars on a dress I will wear once. I actually have 2 dresses and I paid less than $200 for both of them. We had to save money to purchase the children's attire.

Splurge!! I am only getting married once and I want FH and I to both feel beautiful and confident that day. I am getting the dress (possibly 2 dresses) of my dream, and will have a suit made for FH

Splurge for what others would be a save, but I did get the exact dress I wanted. Cost $860, still under $900 which was my max (despite hoping to find one at $500 lol)

I saved and I splurged, but I got exactly what I wanted.

Initially, I saved on my wedding dress, but I was not happy with it. So I ended up looking for another one and fell in love with a $2k+ dress. That was hard for me to justify, since the original dress was similar, but with a $400 price tag. I worked the cost of my dress way down from the original price tag, but I still ended up spending $1k more than I thought I would. Totally worth the splurge, because I love my dress and how I feel in it.

For my bridesmaids, I saved. I needed to have these gold satiny dresses and each dress I found was $100+ or more. I finally came upon an Australian company who had a similar dress for $30 USD!

For our groomsmen, we saved! We bought their pants at Walmart for $15 and their shirts from Amazon for $20.

With patience and a lot of research, it is definitely possible to find wedding party attire for cheap!

I think attire is definitely a category where you can save! By all means don't sacrifice your vision or fashionable sense, but it's not always necessary to buy the most expensive thing you can find. There are very beautiful dresses, and all attire, at very reasonable prices. You just have to research and look around! I think it's worth saving on attire.
