Oh wow see yeah that's the exact reason I have started looking now because I know some places usually do book up fast. Most of the places I have looked at also are expensive and they want you to use their caterer. I have set an appointment today to go look at the venue and I plan on booking it because the man said people have already started booking for 2019.

We started booking things November 2017. So now we've got the venue, caterer, photographer, videographer, and flowers contracted and deposit paid for. We essentially have the officiant we want but haven't officially booked her, we're waiting until a year out to officially book the ceremony musician who has us penciled in, and still working on our DJ who seems to not want our business sooo we'll continue the search lol.

Definitely book as soon as you can if you're set on the venue, otherwise you get people like me who are super planners and book early.

LOL yes I am on it. I have an appointment tomorrow to go look at this venue that I like in hopes that I can go ahead and book it the same day.

So far we have our wedding planner, photographer and videographer booked. We are in the process of visiting some venues in april but hoping to book the venue by the end of April. Then we’ll go from there

I found a company that does package deals. So my venue, food, photographer, videographer, and officiant is done! I was worried about my weekend being booked. August seems popular. I was going to wait until a year out, but these people were the one!

We have booked our venue, which happens to come with our cake, catering, setup, chairs, tables, etc. Basically it's just easy stuff left and paying off the big bill

My planning and decorations is already done/bought. My dress is too. 😂 there’s no such thing as early.

I booked mine already and my wedding is still over a year away! Never too early to solidify your plans 😁

We have the minister, photographer, bridal party, hair and make up people figured out along with the set date. We’re trying to figure out what venue we want to do with paying an arm and a leg for.

I'm getting married April 2019 and already have my venue and church reserved. Those were the largest "to-dos" for me and now we have 14 months to pick our flowers, photographers, dress etc. Getting in early just makes you prepared!

I'm pretty far ahead but wanted to give us plenty of time to get everything set and paid for. I've booked my venue (includes catering/drinks/tableware/etc), photographer/videographer, DJ/photobooth, day of coordinator and ceremony officiant.

I havent done anything!!

When do you plan on starting?

I’m currently in college so when I got engaged I wanted to get things planned right away before I start working on my capstone next year. We’re getting married in August of 2019 and booked our venue and photographer two weeks ago! People kept telling me I had plenty of time but I found the venue I wanted and knew I wanted to get married on a specific day so I didn’t see a point in waiting and risk losing that specific day. I’m kinda stuck on what else I should be looking at booking now.
