Thank you so much. I think I was trying to rush and get stuff done since my sister was due in March and I wanted to enjoy my nephew. We are so close so I want to enjoy her and her new baby since this is her 1st. He is here now and I think after next month ill start back planning so I can enjoy time with my family this month. I am definitely taking some deep breaths.

What else do you need to do? I’m not getting married until October but I’ve already booked everything, bought a bunch of decor, have my jewelry/shoes/dress. I feel like I’ll have everything done way before the wedding because it’s stressing me out to not lol. I feel like it’s never too early to get things done and relieve some stress!

You got this. As long as you have the list to view no matter how tiny the task is "write it out on paper" so you don't miss anything simply because it is very easy to forget something in the state of anxiety. As the days count down and it gets closer, TRUST ME you will have less to worry about when you've checked the list on everything that needed to be executed and you have done them...that's when you will feel happy everything is in order. The only rush you will feel at that point is the adrenaline of that realization saying "Oh snap! It's here, I AM GETTING MARRIED!!!" LOL!! YOU GOT THIS!

I agree. i still have shoes to buy for myself and flower girl baskets and ring bearer pillows but we are trying to find what we really want 1st and my guest book. just minor stuff. but right now I'm focusing on paying all my vendors off before the wedding so those little minor things can wait.

I’m an 8/20/22 bride too. I feel like I’ve been stressing since the day we got engaged. I’ve felt like anything that could go wrong has. And I’ve had to redo all the planning as of January. But with 4 months to go I only have a handful of things to buy and get in order.

Brittany, you got this!!! I had a vendor cancel on me last month so I totally understand how you feel. I am starting to buy the final touches for the ceremony and our attire. we all got this and just remember it is about you and your honey !!!

View Quoted Comment Yes, she’s the one thing I luckily didn’t have to change as she’s my moms best friend! Luckily my dads best friend is a DJ and is coming through for us. So things are falling into place better than expected.

Hey august 20th brides! I’m still trying to work with my planner to book a wedding block and transportation and am having a super hard time! All of the affordable hotels are 30 min away. I also still have to start ordering invite samples.

When i did my hotel block i went and spoke with the manger he gave me a great deal for so many rooms. There were a lot of hotels that were cheaper but i informed my guest that this was the best location especially if they didn’t want to drive
