August 2022 Brides!

I haven't booked anything as of yet but I would like to be proactive as possible.

My wedding date is 10/19/24, so I still have time , however we have been discussing

moving the date closer. I know how fast time can fly. I have emailed a couple venues and

I'm just waiting for their responses. What have you booked so far?

Yay for August 2022!!

I'm waiting on a quote for rentals and florals, but we've got a ceremony location, DOC, reception restaurant, hotel block, welcome dinner restaurant, photographer, officiant, and I've got my dress! We booked our flights and our hotel, we've got a menu picked, and we've taken engagement pictures.

Big ticket things left: wedding party attire, a decision on cake (it doesn't make a ton of sense with our timeline and reception style so we're still pondering), his suit, and invitations!

I'm starting to feel the pressure as more vendors we reach out to are booked! We're getting married 8/26/22 and so far we have our venue and DJ. The officiant is a friend of ours, so that was an easy one! We're in the process of interviewing photographers, planners and florists, but I'm feeling a bit nervous about either the insane mass of options or lack of due to availability! As for my dress, the plan is for my mom to fly into town early December for us to start looking.

We are all set with our vendors! Just need to finalize details the closer we get to the date. The groom still needs to decide where to get his tux from but I just picked up my dress Sunday (no alterations yet)! We sent our save the dates and are looking forward to waiting on replies over the holidays. My bridesmaids are taking advantage of some Black Friday sales for their dresses in a couple weeks and then we plan on booking our honeymoon as we enter the new year!

Our wedding is August 7th. We have a cake tasting coming in January. Venue is booked, wedding planner is hired, wedding dress is bought, dresses for bridal party have been selected, engagement shoot is done, floral is done, videographer and photographer booked. Currently picking out suits for the guys, and dress for the flower girl. So much has been done, but there also so much more to do.

Daughter’s wedding is Sept 3, 2022. These items are booked: Wedding ceremony venue, reception venue, officiant, photographer, videographer, & DJ. We had a tasting tonite & another tmw night so caterer will be booked yet this week. Basic menu has been decided along with appetizers, beverages, table decor, drinkware, flatware, placeware & linens. We ordered samples of linen napkins, table runners & chair cover. Florist has been decided but meeting won’t be until January. Her dress has been bought & is @ my house (alterations will be this summer as that is how her seamstress prefers it). Save the Dates will be mailed within the next week & guest list is on Excel spreadsheet (thanks to the groom!!) Engagement photos done. They are still deciding on whether or not they want a photo booth. Daughter has ordered sample fabric for bridesmaid dresses (all same color but different styles). Things left are shower date/location, invitation, honeymoon details, party favors, bartending service, attire of groomsmen/bridesmaids. One glitch has been hotel rooms as we found out today that many hotels are sold out in our area. Ugh! Luckily we have reservations for all close family & will be working on getting a block of rooms at an available hotel tmw for other guests. No clue why our little town is mostly booked 10 months ahead of time! I feel like we are right on schedule. I know time will speed up with the holidays coming!

August 13, 2022 is the date! Venue is booked, bar and catering is booked. Interviewing with photographers and just finished engagement shoot and picking out save the dates! Feeling a little behind but I know it will come together! 🤍

Hi Danielle I don’t have anything planned or booker at this moment.

We're 9/17/22 and we've got venue (which includes food/drink/tables/linens/etc), dj, photographer, videographer, florist, booked a hotel block, transportation, hair/makeup, bought my dress, bridesmaids are starting to look at dresses. We've also done our engagement pics and I'm looking at ordering save the dates and invites. We're also asking FH's cousin to be our officiant soon.

August 2022 bride here! We have our venue (food and bar are through the venue but we need to decide on the menu still), wedding cake, photographer, videographer, DJ, officiant, hair, makeup, florist, rehearsal venue, wedding dress.


Things that still need to be decided are wedding party attire (so hard to choose), decor, hotel blocks, and honeymoon details!!
I recommend setting aside a full 1 to 2 days to do a lot of research into your vendors and set up interviews. It’s a lot of work it but such a relief when you find the one. good luck!!!

We've done a lot, and are currently focused on attire. I ordered my dress this past weekend, but I'm having a hard time finding what to wear under it. I'm a 38DDD, and it's strapless, and sheer, with boning. So I need shapewear that's strapless with a built in bra, no boning, and all one piece, because otherwise it will be visible. Does anyone have any suggestions? I've tried Maidenform and honeylove, no luck, and I don't think Spanx has anything either

We have pretty much everything done, Except the groom and groomsmen look. my hair, makeup, shoes, and jewelry. We also have to buy alcohol.

We have our venue, photographer, videographer, favors, cakes, my dress, hotel block, 360 booth, save the date, invites, decor, bartender, caterer, honeymoon, and bridal party gifts!

Hi everyone! Our date is 8.14.22 and we have a venue (wedding/reception), officiant and theme. We are working on guest list (OMG way too many people for my vision of an intimate wedding lol), hotel blocks and venue for pre wedding events. Overall I'm confident it will all work out but I'm also having periodic freak outs in fear of not getting it all done.

We are coming along nicely. We have paid the venue off. We are kinda almost done. We have about 3 vendors to finish with. Flowers is where I am right now and hopefully I will have this done by today's end.

Eeekkk!!!! It’s 40 days away!!! In reality, I’m pretty set but the way my anxiety works, I am a wreck! I feel like I’m so behind. I need to get alterations this week and we still need our license. I’m excited and concerned!
