Any other August 2020 brides in Illinois. So hard to be positive with this virus going on. Idk if I should postpone or still wait it out to see what happens. 😭

    Our original date was August 22, 2020 and we decided to postpone, but our wedding had a lot of international guests including the grooms parents. It’s definitely still possible to have your wedding, but it will be different than what you were previously planning. Guest count should probably be around 50 people, and some outdoor spaces are allowing for more. Be prepared to have guests in masks, including in your photos.


    For some brides that’s not ideal, and that’s why they’ve postponed. If you don’t mind and would rather be married sooner then go for it! Just try to be polite if friends opt out due to COVID. There have been a lot of posts on here where brides try to force their guests not to wear masks or call out guests who can no longer come, and they aren’t very successful.
