Anyone else doing something similar? At this point, what do we have to lose 🤷‍♀️

I was told today that dewine should be taking about receptions tomorrow/next week at the latest. Just so you know. Hoping this will give us all some guidance.

Yes, my wedding is August 30. We already postponed once and I really don’t want to again. Waiting til very last minute, like early August to make any changes again. Has your venue said anything about a mask requirement? That’s the biggest dealbreaker for me, and would likely be the only reason we postpone again.

Yes, I agree. Makes me so mad and salty lol. Now I think my wedding planner wants to quit. Because my mom who is Type A personality kinda took over because the planner wasn't really doing anything. Even when all this broke never reached out or anything to see how we were feeling. We are having a phone conference with her Saturday. LOL Yes we can do this Smiley smile Praying for you and your August wedding. Now sure where in Ohio you are. But I am doing my wedding at Stan Hywet. It is very beautiful there. Chairs etc are included for like 20. At least if you did that and then maybe something outside with family? Lets up we won't need our plan B's. DeWhino needs to get moving LOL

I’m also 8/1/20. That was our postponed date too. Originally we were supposed to have our wedding 3/28/20. Fingers crossed for both of us.

I am in the same boat. Our wedding is 10/10/2020 it is further along but we are scared of a second wave. We have already paid for the majority of things, including the venue which is a overnight private stay. A neat idea we have as a back up plan in doing our ceremony with our close friends and family with the option of extended family over FaceTime or Zoom. It would be very different but it’s difficult after so much time and money is spent on the perfect date. Hope you don’t have to cancel!! Best of wishes!

I feel the same. Our wedding is scheduled for Oct 4 and I have not done anything at all yet. ( I just booked our venue earlier this year literally right before covid hit in early March). So I was waiting it out to see how thing panned out and the venue just told me they are not allowing fall weddings to be rescheduled yet. I don’t know what to do as family lives in CA, The wedding is in PA. No one knows if they will be able to travel. And I don’t want to order invites if the date isn’t truly set in stone yet. This is definitely a time of uncertainty for us brides. It’s so stressful.

Yes I am familiar with Stan Hywet! That will be beautiful for you! Ours is located at a park rental facility in Stow. Even if our venue allows us to have it I am worried about restrictions 😬 This is the worst lol

    UPDATE FOR OHIO:
    Just announced:
Starting June 1 wedding receptions can resume following similar guidelines to restaurants with tables 6ft apart and 300 person limit.Congratulations to all of the Ohio brides for June and on. This is great news and such a relief to finally have some information so we can get on with our planning!!
