Hi! Live in LA and we postponed our wedding from 08/01/2020 to 07/17/2021. It was hard to except, but honestly once it was all set and done my anxiety and anxiousness went away. I can't get my dress altered any time soon, can't book the last things we wanted to do and can't truly enjoy all the festivities leading up to it. My photographer made such a good point on how our pictures won't be organic and having something loom over your wedding is something you don't want to remember. I’m August 29 and as of a few days ago my fiancé and I decided to postpone for next year (April-May). As cliche as it sounds, i am someone who has dreamed about my wedding day since I can remember. I want it all, the experience I mean. I want the engagement party ( mine was canceled due it being at end of March) and I want the bridal shower and the bachelorette too! I kept thinking even if I reduce my guest list it won’t be the same. I want the experience of it all without having to have people wear masks or without people being paranoid about dancing around each other. Based on the fact that even if weddings are allowed by then I don’t want people wearing masks.

Yes! that is a big concern if our guests still have to wear mask then its still unsafe to have a large group together so that is one of the reasons we decided to postpone until next year.
