August Wedding

Our venue just informed us they have cancelled all weddings through the middle of July regardless of guest count. I live in Maryland and we are only in Phase I. I am anxiously waiting to postpone, as I don't want to put anyone at risk. Plus, many of our friends and family said they just do not feel safe being around 200 people. Reading what other states are doing like not allowing dance floors and requiring masks, that just isn't what I want for my big day. I think now that I know my venue has rescheduled all weddings up to that point, it is just a matter of weeks before they look at August weddings.

I'm getting married on August 19th in Cancun! ( I rescheduled my original June 13th date). I feel a tiny bit anxious but I feel like they are putting alot of things in place and it's slowly putting my mind at ease. I have about 40 people and I feel like August vs pushing it back to the fall and there being a possible second wave...at this point I'm going to try. OF COURSE we will continue to watch it but at this point alot of my guests are actually excited!

We were supposed to get married May 23 outside of Buffalo, NY with 120 people. We rescheduled to August 14 with 27 people. I'm getting married that day regardless. People will be able to watch via the internet and then videos afterwards.

I wouldn't reschedule, but you might want to think about changing what it will look like.
