Hello,
I am looking to do something special for my aunt/godmother who is my mother’s sister.I want her to be in the place of my mom on my special day. I lost my mom 8 years ago to Kidney failure and she was special to me. I want to give my my aunt something special at the end of the night in honor of her helping me in place of my mom? Any suggestions?

I'm a big fan of personalized gifts, so maybe a locket with a pic of you two, a photo album of special memories, or even an activity you two can do together like a spa day, a baseball game, whatever is special to you two!

I lost my mom 21 years ago. Her sister is my godmother too and is the only remaining immediate family member on my mother’s side and she lives 2000 miles away. I plan on having the photographer take pics of her helping me put my dress on. We are doing a butterfly release during the ceremony in honor of my mom and she will get a box with a butterfly to release (she doesn’t know about this). And I’m not sure what else just yet. Would she be comfortable doing a special reading too?
