Austin Bachelorette Weekend!

Jessica, on September 3, 2020 at 12:00 PM Posted in Parties and Events 0 7

I was wondering what the best time of year would be to travel and stay in Austin? I am hoping to rent a party barge for a day thing and then nightlife as well. I know it gets pretty hot in Texas in July and Augst, but I want to go during a time when things will be bustling. My girls and I would all be flying in so flight prices are also a factor unfortunately. I have thought about paying for the housing myself to help with more girls being able to come and not worry about money.

Thanks in advance!

August is *sweltering* in Austin; there is no getting around this. Spring and fall are the best times for outdoor activities there. As for as budget, what is the maximum amount that each invitee can afford to spend? That will guide you to what activities and accommodations are reasonable.

Around $500. I don't expect them to pay for everything themselves so I am more than willing to help pay for things as well.

I live in DFW and while I understand that you want things to be happening while you are there, Austin is ALWAYS busy with things happening everywhere. I would HIGHLY recommend going in October/November, or March/April. That's when you'll have the best weather (bring rain gear though lol) You will literally melt if you go in the summer. As for flights, things are super cheap right now, so I would buy sooner than later.

We went the first weekend in November last year, it was a little cold but still really fun. I think September would be fun, but so would any time of year! It just depends how hot you want it to be, I personally prefer warmer weather. Another bachelorette activity to look into is the Deep Eddy Vodka distillery!

I didn't realize Deep Eddy was out that way but now that I do I will have to put it on my list. I also thought about September cause it'll still be somewhat warm but not sweltering.
