Hey guys! We're planning a civil wedding for the end of October but I'm not sure how to go about that. Can the JoP wed us at the Capitol or what? Also, dress. I know it's not going to be a ball gown but what should I look for?

As marriage laws vary greatly from state to state, I would suggest contacting your local county clerks office and asking for further information. What typically happens is that you and your SO will book a time at the courthouse for your wedding and the judge that is in the office that day will perform your ceremony.
As for your dress, there are no rules about what you can and cannot wear so your options are entirely open. Some women like to wear full-length bridal gowns while others sometimes like to keep it a little more casual. Have you thought about what look you would like to go for or what style you would like to stay with?
