Average cost of a DJ

Ours is $400 for 7 hrs (but also friend of the family)

Mine is costing $1,000 for 6 hours, including announcements, and wireless set-up for the ceremony (Connecticut)

Mine is $800 for the entire evening

Depends on where you're located. Mine was about $2,000 for 2 DJ's for our ceremony and reception.

I paid $2050 for 5hr reception, ceremony and extra lighting in CT

Depends on the city. I'm from south Florida and they run $100 an hour but my wedding was in Savannah and it was $200 per hour.

This depends on talent and location and wht they are supplying (and quoting prices given by friends really ins't that helpful.

Totally depends on where you are. In my area, someone decent starts around $1,000 on up to about $2,500.
