I have NO idea how much to budget towards flowers??

I am planning a blush/greenery wedding so I would love the flowers to be the main aspect of the wedding with big unruly bouquets and the main aspect of the tablescape to be flowers whether it be a garland if we have longer tables or circular if we end up with round tables.

I would also need 7 bridesmaids bouquets and a bridal bouquet which I plan to reuse at the top table. Also we would want to do both corners of our wedding arch.

I have attached photos to help put images to words, but still stumped on the cost.

My friend is a wedding planner and she told me minimum would be 2k on flowers. i say look around if you want to cut budgets on flowers. Also it depends what type of flowers you want and how big you want it. 50% of your budget on flowers will be on centerpieces.

Best bet is to talk to a florist if you're not DIY. Even then it really changes! My wedding flowers were about $300 and the DIY wedding I'm planning for a friend (which is also very flower-centric like yours) is going to be over $1000 just for flowers at wholesale price. I would just do whatever you can to choose in season flowers to lower the price down.

Bouquets/corsages/boutonnieres alone were going to cost us $800. If you want flowers and greenery to be your main focus I'd budget a couple thousand dollars.

I would get quotes from at least 2-3 local florists. Because of the amount of flowers you are wanting, I'd suggest going with a florist in lieu of ordering online. Time is money; I do not want to spend time setting up elaborate floral arrangements, but that's just me. In your area, I would think 2k to 3k for all of that? But again, make sure to shop around. I am in East TN, and I saved $300 by getting another quote. Make sure you have lots of pictures, which you seem to.

I just met with my florist. We have tons of candles throughout our venue- fireplace, Dows the 4 isles for ceremony, tables, just everywhere. We also have a 6 feet floating floral ring, 5 tall center pieces, and 10 smaller centerpieces, florals on the fireplace, bar, etc. We were quoted around $2,600.00. We are adding more candles and some more flowers but we only expect that to go up to $3,500.00 at the MOST. I was surprising shocked by the lower price- I was imagining much more. The floral ring cost $1,000 in flowers.

However, we did NOT get any bouquets from our florist.

LMFAO you're right about that. I've been discovering that the hard way with various items related to the wedding.

We are at $1,952 for our flowers. That's with four bridesmaids, my bouquet, an arbor display, 15 centerpieces, boutonnieres and corsages. Plus they are doing all the signs for the wedding (menu, table #'s, signature drinks, etc) and the seating chart display!

Here is the breakdown of our flowers- as you can see they add up fast! I have less people in my wedding as well. Try and find a florist who can reuse items from the ceremony and/or cocktail hour at the reception. We are using the gazebo floral spray to use along our tables. I am also not picky on flower type which really helps my florist keep cost down.

Our florals were about $3500 including setup and delivery. We had my bouquet, 4 BM bouquets, a mini flower girl bouquet, 6 bouts and centerpieces for 20 tables. The centerpieces were a mix of short, tall and garland. I would definitely budget over $3000 for what you described and based on the inspo pics.

I would just find a florist you like and see what they think! Using in season flowers also helps keep things reasonable.

I'm spending about $1300 in flowers, though I kept it to a minimum. Most of my decorations are coming from other items, with flowers as an accent. They're expensive! Btw, I'm in Texas.

I heard that the average is about $3000 for flowers, which is why I'm not hiring a professional florist. I'm going to DIY it. I have friends who are willing to help. I'm also going to be very simple with it.

I have very similar inspiration to you Smiley smile Beautiful choices! It all depends on where you live, how many centerpieces and other things you need (bouquets, etc.). I live in MA and am being quoted between $3,000-$5,000 (6 brides, 5 groomsmen, flower girls, parents, grandparents, and about 25 centerpieces).

Well, how much do you want to spend? You can't say "cheap" or a "small budget" because that is relative. We want to spend not more than $2500 for flowers including centerpieces, altar, bridal party and a bout for each place setting for each guest. We just set a price, and when to a florist, told them what we want and said with delivery and tax this is all we could spend. I got a couple of estimates that range from $1800 to $3000. So shop around and bring your photos.

I would say expect between $2-3k. Mine was $4k and mine are all roses and ridiculous bougie-type flowers so the greenery should definitely be less than that. Depending on where you are too, you should definitely not exceed a $3k budget. My florist is in San Diego, CA.
