I have NO idea how much to budget towards flowers??

I am planning a blush/greenery wedding so I would love the flowers to be the main aspect of the wedding with big unruly bouquets and the main aspect of the tablescape to be flowers whether it be a garland if we have longer tables or circular if we end up with round tables.

I would also need 7 bridesmaids bouquets and a bridal bouquet which I plan to reuse at the top table. Also we would want to do both corners of our wedding arch.

I have attached photos to help put images to words, but still stumped on the cost.

My total came out to $570 but I went with a smaller, local florist instead of someone who is bigger and part of a chain. Instead of flowers for centerpieces I bought lanterns from AC MOORE on Black Friday for $6 a piece and I'll be doing those with candles, instead of flowers! If you just get the bouquets and boutonnieres and choose what's in season, you'll get more for your buck! I couldn't bring myself to spend anymore than $600.. but that's just me!

I’m getting this arrangement from Sams club. They have a wedding collection. They just so happened to have the stargazer lily that I love. I believe that one is a 17 piece set for $319! They also sell the garland you for your runner if your a creative DIY

Would you consider fake flowers? Hobby Lobby usually puts their pre made bouquets and other floral arrangements on 50% off sale 2 times a year, Mine are white and I am adding colored flowers to them, got them on sale for $20! I am using 2 bouquets for me, and 1 for each of my BM

Every town/area is different and it depends on how elaborate you want to get. We are getting married just outside of Boston, so nothing here is very inexpensive, unfortunately. But, we want minimal (mostly greenery with some flowers) and I found a florist who is amazing. I budged $1500 and was NOT going to go over that. The florist's rough total is $1530 (I'm willing to spend an extra $30) and she said once we know the final table count, we can change some things to keep the costs down.

Thousands. But ultimately it depends on where you live. There are also DIY sites where you can order bulk flowers (costco, sams, fiftyflowers, blooms by the box, etc), you can save an enormous amount of money doing this. You can also buy greenery garland. There are sites where you can pick out your bouquets and they send you all the materials and you put them together. It appears you save about 50% doing this. For the number of bouquets you are wanting, you would need a lot of help.

Here is a site i found that seems to do a good job of providing the range of each floral item. Has low-priced to high-priced averages, so you could ask for a quote from some florist you like and try to compare with how much they charge and the quality of their work. Good Luck! Smiley smile

I am ordering 4 small bouquets for my girls, my bouquet, 4 corsages for mothers and grandmothers, and 2 bouitneers for the officiant and for the man who is walking me. I'm also ordering some flowers for my cake but all this together came to about $550. I saved some money because all of the groomsmen and the groom are military so they can't have flowers. Also, my venue is already decorated and doesn't need flowers. I will be reusing the girl's flowers as centerpieces since they'll come in vases.

Omg girl--floral costs a lot. Where I'm from, (Chicago land area), my budget of $1850 covered personal flowers for the wedding party (bouquets for 6 bridesmaids and me, boutonnieres for groom, 8 groomsmen, 2 ring bearers), 2 mother corsages, bud vases on all the 16 tables guest tables, and wreaths behind the ceremony. The bridesmaids bouquets become centerpieces for headtables.

Greenery can be even more expensive than flowers because of how it must be kept.

I'd budget at least 3K to do what you are imagining, but really up to 8K. Find a florist and SHMOOZE.

CHECKOUT BLOOMINOUS. You may have to do it yourself or hire someone to put the bouquets together. They are like half the cost of anywhere else and have excellent reviews.

I was looking at similar pictures as well. Except, my theme is with light blue and beige/champagne.

I found and searched life-like greenery, and I think it would be a mix of eucalyptus plants and ivy leaves. and then just put the roses on top. This is what Im thinking instead of real ones, cause that would be very expensive. These were $10-15 for either 75 or 84 feet each. Hope I helped a little Smiley smile

Your inso seems very similar to mine-- although less blush and no roses but peonies and ranunculus. For many similar things, including number of bouquets, we were quotes and signed for $6,314.00. However, as you said, the florals are the main decor, we aren't really adding anything else, and that includes ceremony, reception, delivery, and candles.

However, we will get a 5% refund when we give them the professional photos to use on the website which is always good to ask if they will do (the vendor and photog).

I did DIY with bulk flowers from costco, corkscrew willow dried branches from a branch website, 2 size cylinder vases from dollar tree, tall cylinder vases from Amazon, and wide vases from Amazon.

    Costco bulk flowers: $1750

    Willow branches (60): $100

    Vases total: $300

DIY floral supplies (wires, pearl pins, floral tape, floral scissors, floral shears, de-thorners, floral gloves, etc): $75

TOTAL: ~$2225, and that was DIY

    The flowers consisted of:

Boutonnieres & Wrist corsages package: 8 ivory rose boutonnieres + 8 ivory rose wrist corsages

    White hydrangea: 75 stems

    Blue hydrangea: 75 stems

    Shocking blue hydrangea: 36 stems

    Sage green hydrangea: 36 stems

    Peach roses: 150 stems

    White Carnations: 150 stems

    White dendrobium orchids: 70 stems

    Baby's breath: 400 stems

White Filler: 150 stems of white godetia, more babies breath, white lysimachia, and white trachelium

    They went into:

    RECEPTION

12 7.25" cylinder vases: mixed hydrangea low centerpieces

12 7.25" cylinder vases: various arrangements of roses, orchids, carnations, white filler, sage green hydrangea for misc reception (non-guest) tables, entry, cocktail tables, and bar

24 9" cylinder vases: various arrangements of roses, orchids, carnations, white filler, sage green hydrangea for misc reception (non-guest) tables, entry, cocktail tables, and bar

12 18" cylinder vases: white and blue hydrangea tall centerpieces with willow branches

6 18" cylinder vases: mixed hydrangea for misc reception (non-guest) tables

8 8" x 6" wide cylinder vases: various arrangements of roses, orchids, carnations, white filler, sage green hydrangea for misc reception (non-guest) tables, entry, and bar

    CEREMONY

1 bridal bouquet: mixed hydrangea, carnations, roses, white godetia

3 bridesmaid bouquets: mixed hydrangea, carnations, roses, mixed white filler, white orchids

24 aisle metal vases: baby's breath

4 8" x 6" wide cylinder vases on white alter columns: baby's breath

    2 large 5 gallon buckets: baby's breath

Wish I had more pictures but I didn't take any at the venue, I'm counting on the photographer and videographer. All I have are some pictures during the floral processing and arranging, some guest photos, and a couple sneak peek pro photos.
