Avery Clear Labels for Addressing

ALSpit, on May 10, 2017 at 3:46 PM Posted in Do It Yourself 0 11

Is anyone else designing their own address labels through avery.com for the invites and the RSVPs? I would love to see examples! Smiley smile

How will you be addressing for your own address? For instance, I liked the idea of doing

"The Future Mr. & Mrs." along with the address that we live at. Etc.

I got a stamp that has our first names and then our address - so we wouldn't have to change it after we got married

IMO - I like the look of addresses printed on the envelopes, I don't care for the labels because its usually pretty obvious they're labels when traditionally the invites are hand written

We did the "future mr & mrs" as well. Be warned, the clear labels smudged for me. I ended up using the white ones but our envelopes were white so they didn't stick out.

I have the white Avery labels #8160

They are the absolute best. Just a tip***

When you put in all the addresses. Take a regular piece of paper and have the printer print on that. & if it's even & looks good then print on the actual Labels. I'm only suggesting that because the guy at Staples shared that tip with me. & I did it. & it made things easier.

    As for addressing we did:

    Adam & Hannah

    Address

    Town. State. Zip.

Be careful with those clear labels, I used to be a receptionist while in college and the clear labels smudge and get finger prints on them very easily. I love the Future Mr. and Mrs. language though!

Not at all a fan of labels on wedding invites. It just cheapens them IMO.

I just tested it out and printed the address labels and put them on a couple of envelopes, and it blends right in! my envelopes are cream, so you can barely see the outlines of the labels.

We are doing "The Future Mr. & Mrs.". Also doing clear labels. Printing looks better and quite frankly labels are the quickest and easiest option. We're using the same fonts and we did on our invites. We did the same thing for our STDs and got lots of compliments.

I used the clear Avery and they turned out great. I used them also on the RSVP envelops so that I would know who was sending the RSVP.

When I receive an invite with an address label I assume the person who is planning the wedding is not up on etiquette. It just cheapens the whole thing.
