AW - DIY Wax Seal Invites

MrsBeetoBe, on July 29, 2017 at 9:39 AM Posted in Do It Yourself 0 12

So i've been working really hard on these, so i just shamelessly really wanted to show them off because i'm so proud of how they turned out. i did not DIY the actual printing of the invitations, i had them done online. What I did DIY was I sandwiched all the printed cards between 2 sheets of vellum, sourced gray ribbon that matched the envelope liners, wrapped the packet in ribbon and then sealed it with a wax seal. We did a bumblebee stamp because one of FH's pet names for me is "bee" (not that our guests really know that) and it's also a nod to our future last name starting with the letter 'B'. If you're considering a wax seal, the process can be tedious, but it's super easy to do and really hard to mess up. Enjoy!

That is super cute. Love it. Can you source the place where you got the stamp made? I might look into it.

Those look beautiful! You did a great job! I love the look of the vellum as well-where did you find it? Also, who did you use to print the invites?

Beautiful job! Love the look of vellum and wanted to do it for our invites, but did not for cost and time reasons.

I love the idea! I really want to seal our invitation envelopes but if push comes to shove, saving money on that could decided otherwise

Omgosh thanks for the info. Just looked on amazon and they're not expensive at all. They even have custom made ones. So cool. Thanks for the info. Your invitations are super cute and elegant. Good job.
