Found out later, I had a friend working security, so I could have met him in person, but it's for the best that I didn't know that, because I would have actually died.

Sounds and looks like a blast!!!

DRAG BRUNCH

1. Me with the groomsladies who were not allowed at the bachelor party, so I brought them with me! Love those girls.

2. Too hungover to remember this beautiful queen's name, but I swear I've worked with her before on an event. My BM Michelle's face is everything.

3. Polenta nap. I was so hungover from the concert, I tried to start my disco nap early. Don't worry, it was mostly a staged photo. Might have dozed off for a second, though.

1. The bachelorette package I won online was special delivered to me at Fifi Mahony's (best wig store in the world), because my friend ran the contest and it was probably rigged.

2. Mojito-type drink in the courtyard at Cafe Amelie. Possibly the most flattering photo of the weekend.

3. It rained on my parade for like an hour, but I was so drunk I didn't notice. My tutu skirt got a little wet, though.

All aboard the Hot Mess Express! Just a bunch of drunk photos with my besties. We bar hopped from Pat O'Briens, Boondock Saint, attempted Bourbon Cowboy (lasted 20 seconds before we fled while blowing our penis shaped rape whistles), got fancy drunk at Arnaud's French 75 . . .

Looks like so much fun!!!!! Love your dress! I grew up about 45 mins from Nola (Houma area) and we're doing my bachelorette party in New Orleans as well! All I know is we have a balcony over Bourbon at the Royal Sonesta, but I'll have to tell my MoH about Drag Brunch. That sounds amazing!

And finally ended up at Erin Rose (Irish Pub), where we decided to cap off the night with an Irish Car Bomb. I won the car bomb race, but at great personal cost. Here's the progression in photos. Car bombs, me winning, and going home to say weird things to the dog. And subsequent stomach pain. But a constant 48 hour supply of rum capped off with whiskey and guinness will do that to a person, I suppose. Everyone should have this much fun at 36 years old.

Awe this time last year I was in NOLO. Came for the EMS conference and stayed for Bourbon St, love me some Pat O'Briens drinks! Looks like you had a fabulous time!

@reirei - Drag brunch is a hoot. I specifically requested that we not go to gay bars for this, because gay bars REALLY hate bachelorette parties (and with good reason), but the drag brunch at the Country Club exists for birthdays and bachelorettes. They advertise it on their website, so I knew we wouldn't offend anyone by being annoying Woo Girls. Definitely check it out! The high kicks in cheerleading uniforms alone are worth it.

Looks like fun! I was there last weekend for a bachelorette. It was very messy. I wish we would've known about the drag brunch to get seats!

It rained one day but it was messy drunk for sure. We were there almost a week and did four nights on bourbon. I thought I was going to die

ETA: I am broke and I have decided against a destination bachelorette if my people decide to throw me one lol

I ended up not doing a destination bachelorette either. It didn't make sense, since we live in a bachelorette destination. I couldn't have been happier this weekend.
