Babies at kid free wedding?

So I have 3 friends& family members who are pregnant and will have babies come time for the wedding. We originally planned on having a child free wedding but I plan on inviting the babies. We still aren't inviting other children, is this etiquette? Will people wonder why I invited them and not their...

So I have 3 friends& family members who are pregnant and will have babies come time for the wedding. We originally planned on having a child free wedding but I plan on inviting the babies. We still aren't inviting other children, is this etiquette? Will people wonder why I invited them and not their kids?

Do I put "and family" or "and baby" when I address the save the dates?

    The short version is, would it be nice to make an exception or offer yes. Are they likely to still decline, yes. Would I wait until they ask before worrying about this either way? yes

    @Cassidy, we already have 12 pages of your opinion on the matter. No need to derail other threads the majority who believe considering an exception is worth it when we've already had your drama.
