My fiancé and I are planning to have a baby after the wedding. Anyone else?! I’m getting anxious because we are almost a month away!

Hang in there! We have miscarried once before so I’m nervous, but we would like to try right away too. I’m praying for you all.

I love the idea of adoption. I work with foster kids and it is the most rewarding thing ever when they find a family to adopt them. We plan on fostering once our kids are a older and who knows, maybe we will adopt one day too.

No kids for me and hubby. I can’t have any regardless, but I don’t want them anyway so it isn’t a tragedy.

I’m 36 and FH is 47, we’ve been trying for 2 months. I’ve always wanted children. He has kids but wants more with me which was a shock to my system. His daughter is 12 so she will be half grown by the time our child would be in kindergarten. Also with age it gets harder to have kids but god willing we will at least have 2.

We are planning to start trying after our wedding too! Mostly due to age....I will be 36 when we get married. It is also contingent on being able to buy a house when our lease is up next summer and the world looking like a better place. Good luck to you!!

Good luck!! Just make sure you have realistic expectations. My husband and I started trying a few months after we got married, and were both in the “it’ll happen in 1-3 months” mindset. It didn’t. We’re 10 months in now, and starting IVF later this month. Hopefully you’ll be luckier then us, but like I said just keep your expectations in check! Everyone thinks “it won’t happen to us” but it can. I don’t mean to be a downer haha because it’s definitely worth getting excited about, I just wish I had been better prepared that it can be a very long and difficult road for some.

I would like 2 so that our first born doesn’t end up an only child when his daughter is out of our house. So far by OBGYN says everything looks good and I’m prepared. She did say that if we don’t get pregnant by January to come back in and speak with a fertility doctor. I went in because my mom had issues getting pregnant for 7yrs, I didn’t have her issues that she had but I’m glad I talked to my OB.

I understand what you mean completely. We have already miscarried once before so I know it may not happen right away.

We plan on waiting a bit after our wedding- try to enjoy married life before welcoming a new human. However, FH already has a child, so that is likely influencing our decision- it's not like we don't already have a kid in the house! I've known PLENTY of people who had a baby right afterwards!

We are planning on getting married in October and want to start trying at the beginning of 2021. My fiancé and I lost our baby girl this year at 18 weeks. We want to give ourselves sometime as newlyweds but definitely want to wait less than 6 months.

My FH and I are planning to start our family right after the wedding. I’m turning 31 and he’s turning 32.
We’ve already been window shopping for a bigger house, since we currently live in a two bedroom, two bathroom townhouse. Looking for a 4 bedroom, 2+ bath because we want two kids and to have a dedicated guest room.

We both would LOVE two children. One for sure then we will go from there but if it does not happen for us then we would be okay. We have been married for a little over 4 months now and the pressure from DH's mom is on! Like she sent me a long text on Mother's Day and I was like oh lord lol. My parents said they would be happy for us, but not to rush it and take our time. They already have 6 grand kids with the youngest being 1 years old. DH parents on the other hand have no grand kids and are ready to spoil a small person lol. We are currently saving and hoping to be in a house by our one year anniversary then will start trying. I'll be 30 in December and DH just turned 31.
