Bachelor Party Gift

My FH's bachelor party has been....well, a whirlwind. No one offered to throw him one, until finally one of the groomsmen made plans for one. And to be honest, it just broke my heart, because I could see the disappointment on his face and he is the type of guy that is always there for everyone....

My FH's bachelor party has been....well, a whirlwind. No one offered to throw him one, until finally one of the groomsmen made plans for one. And to be honest, it just broke my heart, because I could see the disappointment on his face and he is the type of guy that is always there for everyone. Anyways, guys aren't the best at planning things....and, hardly anyone is going. The only groomsmen going is the one that came up with the idea, and then another friend is going. Another downer for FH, the other friend is bringing his GIRLFRIEND!!! Like what!?!? BUT it's the other friends camper / ATV's they are using for the trip, soooo it's not like anyone can really say "no." It just stinks, I feel bad for my FH...especially because I had an awesome bachelorette weekend. Therefore, in hopes to lift his spirit and get him excited / make him laugh I suppose, I made him this little "Bachelor party tool box." It has: a gag gift of personalized boxers, cheap sunglasses because he is ALWAYS losing his, and other misc. items from the dollar store. Just wanted to share Smiley smile

My fiance had a large bachelor party but I'm VERY confident it would not have happened if I hadn't helped the best man. I've seen the bachelor parties just planned my men without women's input. NOT PRETTY!

This should definitely lift his spirits. It's such a cute idea! I'd like to suggest throwing in three beer coozies for the guys? I'm baffled as to why this friend wants to bring his girlfriend on a bachelor trip. If that's the case, then your FH reserves the right to bring you too. It's clear that he not okay with this girl coming along. He should tell them he wants only guys. That's just weird.

I love the tool box! I think it'll definitely help lift his spirits.
FH had a similar experience, he picked his best man thinking that he was the most likely to be on top of things. I helped him come up with an awesome bach party but he waited until the last minute to make reservations and everything around here was booked up. They still had a great weekend, just had to drive a few hours.
Also, definitely ridiculous that the girlfriend is going. I probably would've told her that it was weird and should be a guy's trip.

Trust me, if it wasn't for the fact that they are using all of the friend's stuff for the trip, we would have spoken up and said "no way." Not much we can do though, since it is their stuff (RV camper and ATVs). I do wish I could go now, knowing that she is...but we have kids, so one of us has to stay home. Plus, he still deserves a fun weekend away (without me), even if it isn't quite what he was hoping for.

Oh I told her, lol, but at the end of the day, I can't "forbid" it, because it is their stuff (RV Camper & ATVs) they are using. They are good friends of ours, and I still love them...it's just weird, lol.

How sweet!! He’s going to love it! My bff’s husband had the same thing happen to him (his best man planned a trip to Europe with his gf instead-WHAT) so her dad planned a night out and he ended up having a blast. Hopefully everything works out for your fiancé too!

Did she tell you why she agreed to go? She should have said she wasn't going and let the guys do their own thing. Can you ask her to spend the weekend with you and the kids? When it was my FH's party, my brother-in-law was leaving my pregnant sister, who was almost ready to give birth, home with their their two year old. So I traveled to her and spent the weekend with her and my niece. She really needed assistance at that point in her pregnancy.
