I personally have not, however, my friend just attended her sister's bach party in Orlando and they said they had a great time! We are all huge Harry Potter fanatics and it seems everyone was delighted to go to the Wizarding World rather than Vegas, New Orleans, etc! Have fun if you go that route!!

If you want an Orlando bachelorette party, you could do City Walk which is a free to enter area of Universal with themed bars and restaurants, mini golf, shopping and a movie theater.

Sounds super fun! And if you're a Florida resident I'm sure you can get killer discounts. Especially during January-April for Disney!!!

To everyone on here, no Disney/universal does not have to cost a fortune. It can easily be under $300/person if you budget it right. You can bring in your own food and stay at a cheap Hotwire hotel or at a resort to get free parking and the Disney dining plan.

I think it's totally worth it!!!! I'm NEVER gonna go on a vacation with my BFFs without our hubbies or babies for any other reason than a bachelorette party! I say bring it on!! Lol.

We considered doing Disney but we're not but I wanted to do the half marathon when we were there cuz I'm losing weight for the wedding so that was my way of celebrating my weight loss but of course I was gonna pay for that and whatever else theyd let me pay for. Have fun mama!

Agreed! Now that me and my girlfriends are all a little older (I'm almost 29) and have well paying jobs, we are happy to splurge on a trip together! With work, families, kids, we hardly see each other, so I'm happy to run away with them for a weekend if possible! Everyone is different and only you know your girls and what they will be up for!

We just planned it well in advance and gave everyone plenty of time to make their plans. I had custom shirts made on Etsy. My mom and MOH sponsored a dinner one of the nights we were there and it was a surprise shower. I would highly recommend a Disney bachelorette, especially if that's your thing. Its an amazing alternative to Vegas haha. I got my veil ears on etsy too.

YASSSS I had my bachelorette st universal/island of adventures! I think you can search my BAM for pictures from it. If not I can find it and post here.

We stayed at an airbnb outside universal.

Wear a sash of some kind. I'm a huge HP nerd and my girls got matching deathly hallows Tshirts and I wore my hp tank top and they got me a "muggle to mrs *new last name*" sash and it got up to the front of a few lines!

ETA we did a long weekend Thursday - Sunday. We flew from philly.

I am having a joint bachelor/bachelorette party at Disneyland. It really doesn't have to cost a lot if you plan early and take advantage of the hotel/theme park packages. We just let everyone know in advance and everyone is pretty excited. We even have girls wanting to make themed shirts for the whole party!!

We are doing my bachelorette in Orlando! Already have our house booked and our flights! I am really just looking for cute pics, tips, ideas, suggestions for "swag" - mouse ears, t shirt ideas, etc!

We haven't fully decided if we will do 2 days at Disney or 1 day at Disney & 1 day at Universal. We are big Disney/HP fans! I am simply excited and wanted to share my excitement and see what others did if they had a similar bachelorette to pass on to my MOH Smiley smile

I love Disney so much, I'd love to have a bachelorette there as I am just so over bars and clubs but it really is quite expensive. My family are DVC members so we could in theory just use points to go for a couple days but with travel, ticket expenses, food etc. it would be so much to ask of my maids especially seeing as how for most of them my wedding will require them traveling and the resort itself is $$$$. We are hoping to get a house in OBX and have a bunch of couples come for a long weekend, splitting a beach house wouldn't be too much money and we can all just chill and cook together, and the guys can go out when they want as well as us girls. I'm not putting a huge emphasis on the bachelorette though. I am more focused on the actual wedding I guess.

My FSIL is doing hers at Disney in CA. 3 days. She has the annual pass so it won't be too bad on our bank accounts seeing as her tickets will be taken care of.

Everyone is chipping in together to get 2 or 3 hotel rooms for the weekend.

Her bridesmaids and her are big crafters so they are making ears and shirts for everyone (I am in another state so they ar e making mine for me) before we go.

    I'm excited!!!
