Bachelorette ideas during covid (socially distant)

Emma, on July 6, 2020 at 11:14 AM Posted in Parties and Events 0 11

  • I’m not having a bachelorette party with Covid... Has anyone found any fun ways to get together with your BM’s virtually??

I did a zoom bachelorette party for my sister last month. We all had pizza and wine and played some games it was a lot of fun. I also mailed her a tiara and a bride sash and some banners and balloons to decorate the apartment. It was a lot of fun!

Honestly I am just doing a small group and if things are open I was thinking a wine tasting or a mixology class would be fun. I tell you in a yelp group I am in we have done a couple of virtual cooking classes and they were fun. Maybe look into that. We drank wine too ha ha.

My friends and I have been doing game night online. The one has an Xbox account and he sends us a link via Facebook to play. We use Facebook's group chat to see each other. The games are on the computer and you use your phone to play. It has been a lot of fun.

I know this was a baby shower but my friends did a virtual baby shower through zoom and Facebook live. They had games set up, they allowed specific people to lead the games, showed their gifts and everything. They even decorated their home to look like a baby shower. It was actually very cool and inspiring.

Not sure if you are still looking for ideas but we ended up doing something called a Stir Fry and had a blast. You pick a recipe and do a virtual cook-along. They send you the grocery and everything! Would recommend it Smiley smile https://stirfry.io

We had a blast, I thought you might also appreciate it. What is the yelp group you're in? Would love to join!

I am in the Tampa Bay group. There is an elite squad per area in each state. I am thinking if I were to do anything low key I would do vino before the vows with just a few close friends at my place. The stirfry is a cute option.
