Bachelorette ideas for north east bride

Christina, on October 5, 2020 at 1:16 PM Posted in Parties and Events 1 7
Hi! Anyone have any great ideas for bachelorette in the north east around April/beginning of May time? Currently live in Boston and do not want to travel too far (tops 3 hour drive)

    Hi Christina,

I currently live in Boston and have been to a few bachelorette parties in the New England area - all a blast! They've varied by state, season and personality depending what type you want (i.e. rustic/city/beach).

    - Newport, RI

    - Block Island, RI

    - Portland, ME

    - Berkshires, MA

We actually did my best friends bachelorette in Newport the last weekend of April and the weather was perfect!

    Hopefully this helps Smiley smile

Newport is really fun and <2 hours away. I don't know when "peak" season officially starts, but I'm sure it doesn't get too crowded before Memorial Day. Also, Martha's Vineyard might work well depending on how many people you have because they have a bunch of cute B&Bs that would be fun to stay in with a group. Both of those places have a decent variety of things to do. If you want something really low-key, April is pretty much right after ski season ends, so you could probably find a town in VT/NH/southern ME that's marketed to skiers (so off-season pricing) but has a spa and a few restaurants.

I would definitely go with Portland! Amazing restaurants, live music, breweries, etc. Tons of fun stuff to do!

I love Providence, especially the area near Brown University. They have a lot of bars and businesses walking distance from the campus.
