Bachelorette malfunction

Chrisheena, on November 19, 2019 at 8:36 PM Posted in Parties and Events 0 14
This pass weekend the mother of my niece gave me a bachelorette party. Which was really nice and thoughtful of her. I gave her a list of all I wanted to be invited. So the day of the party I showed to only haveing her two friends their. LITERALLY NOOOOBODY from my list came. I found it really odd and devastating. But despite of I still enjoyed my self because it was about me. So the thought never left my mind. So I reached out to my bm and asked, did yall kno about the party? All said no they didn't kno nothing about it. AND was pretty pissed off they didn't kno. So I'm here thinking what the hell happened? That only her friends came. Should I ask her about it, or dead it and have alil bachelorette party amongst my gals n the bridal party the night before the wedding. I did book us a room. I already got the alcohol and some games to play. So I'm not stressing it. I just dont want it to be awkward when they see her. Because they feel a certain way about it. Please advise me 🤷🏿‍♀️😩

Hmm, that is a weird situation 😕 if it’s your bachelorette party then why did she invite her friends and not your girls who are in your wedding party and whoever else you wanted there? I would probably still do something with all of them because the other girls maybe wanted to be apart of the process of throwing you a party also.
    Good luck! 😊

That sounds really strange. I would definitely have another party with your girls the night before!

To me it sounds like she dropped the ball and didn’t invite anyone from your list in time so she had some of her friends come over. Definitely do a re-do party! If it’s awkward between them then let it be. If she forgot to invite them and they found out there was a party and ask her about it then she should expect that to happen and it’s nothing you should worry about! She’ll tell them whatever reasoning she has.

Word of advice: DO NOT do the bachelorette party the nights before the wedding!!!!! Be sober the night before. No hangovers to affect how things go!

Yes, weird as hell! I would ask her why she didn’t invite YOUR people?! That is what is supposed to happen. I’d also go ahead and have the mini-bachelorette party sometime when you all can get together....

Sounds like she made your bachelorette party all about her!! Rude.

Ok, who knows what actually happened? But the fact is that you gave her a list of people to invite, and she completely ignored that request (from the BRIDE), and invited who she wanted. Rude.

I would want to know how that happened, and then I would definitely plan a party with your original list and do it right! Although, you might want to rethink doing it the night before the wedding. You don't want to be paying for your fun the next day (hangover/tired/dehydrated).

    Sorry this happened.

That is a weird situation. I would go out with your girls. MoH and bridesmaids usually plan the bachelorette party. It is an honor they get for being in the wedding.
