Bachelorette on a holiday weekend

Hello this is my first post ever but I need some advice. I want to have my bachelorette party on 4th of July weekend since we get an extra day off work. It is also the week before my wedding. Is this really selfish of me? I kind of feel bad because some of my friends wont get to spend 4th of July with their boyfriends. However, this is a joint party and I am not opposed to inviting them but know some of the boyfriends can't come. Let me know what you think please? I dont want to be a bridezilla.

    Welcome! I don't see the problem especially since you are doing a joint party, why can't everyone's 4th of July plans be together? Sounds like more fun to me Smiley smile And your friends should expect to have your party anywhere from two weeks to the day before the event so they shouldn't be too disappointed.

    I think it's perfectly ok to have it 4th of July wknd.Your BM's will understand.They probably expect to be doing wedding stuff with you the few weeks before the big day anyway.
