Bachelorette party attire

POLL: Are you having custom shirts made for your party or having them where whatever they want?

My party is at the end of July. We are going to Lake Geneva and starting the day off with lunch and a wine tasting. Then we'll explore the town, stop at a couple bars, maybe take in a magic show. We'll head to hotel and get ready for dinner and bands/dancing in the evening.

I think it would be cool to have them all in matching tanks/shirts during the day and then for dinner change into dressier clothes. But I'm kinda on the fence about it because they will only be wearing them for 5 or 6 hours and then changing into dinner attire. Of course, no matter what they end up wearing, I will want to wear a Bride shirt/tank top and sash while we are out during the day. I would be purchasing the shirts for them.

My MOH made shirts for everyone who came, but they were optional to wear for the events. We all chose to wear them for the casual part but then dressed up for the club.

My bachelorette party was Golden Girls themed. I like that she made us all matching shirts without making them wedding - specific.

Hi Jenny! This sounds like an awesome party, I've heard Lake Geneva is beautiful! I have always been a fan of the matching shirts look, so I say go for it! I know you can order them for a pretty good price on certain websites! I have two of my favorites that I'll share with you for inspiration, hope it helps Smiley smile

Hey, Jenny! Your bach itinerary is so enviable! Smiley love

The tanks are a fun idea, and would definitely make for fun photos! It's up to you and your budget. Even if they only wear them for a few hours, they can always use the tanks as lounge wear later on!

Since this is a poll, after all, I vote tanks (if they fit comfortably in the budget)! Smiley winking Have fun!

We are all buying shirts! My MOH chose some and each girl is ordering their own, and my MOH ordered mine. They have some on Etsy for like $10-$15 per shirt, which isn't bad.

I have no idea what my girls have in store but I assume they are doing something like matching tanks/tops. Everything but the place & dates is top secret:

I think that I'm just going to have mine all wear the same color of dresses for our night out (probably just black).

I'm staying away from tanks because a lot of people don't feel comfortable in them, and I would hate for them to feel obligated to be uncomfortable. If I do anything like that, it'll probably be some type of shirts for the day (but I'm still undecided).

I am giving them the option of a tank top or t-shirt, because I know some of them wouldn't want a tank top.

We’re all wearing whatever is comfortable. We’re not going out to a club or anything...we have a limo picking us up and taking us to a private pole dance fitness class, then dinner and drinks in the private dining room at an awesome local farm-to-table restaurant. Afterward, we’re headed back to my place for a middle-school style sleepover (face masks, crappy rom-coms) and a Pure Romamce party. I figure everyone is wearing leggings and cute tops or sundresses with shorts under.

My bridal party was this past weekend and I didn't want matching clothes. But that's just really not the style of my group or myself. If it is of yours then I say go for it, just make sure everyone is into the idea. My sister did get us all matching temporary tattoos that were Harry Potter/ Bachelorette themed which was a really cute matching touch.

I think one of the other girls is making a second shirt, but my MOH made these for our road trip to NOLA. Four weeks and counting until we go.

I made matching monogrammed tank tops for all my girls and they loved them. I chose monograms instead of "bride tribe" or something wedding related so they would want to wear them again.
